The media thrive on bad news, because that is what is selling newspapers and that is what is drawing people to their sites. It is the same with all subjects that are printed in newspapers and also posted on sites, so it is not necessarily targeted at Bitcoin. We cannot deny that some media platforms are owned by "Fiat" supporters and that they are using those platforms to shill for their Fiat masters.

You can easily spot them after a while, when they only report negatively on Bitcoin on their platforms.  Wink

Do you think that news will sold if you read all good news
no? Right because people always want to know bad news and they continue to patronizing it at the end they want it a better ending. That is the part of social media to spread news sometimes is fake news.

To quote the age old saying "No news is good news".

It matters little to me what sort of things are peddled in the media, because the vast majority of these people don't even understand what they are wriring about. They are just selling a story.

As long as Bitcoin is being talked about (good or bad) the more people are curious.  Wink

It really matters to you if you easily believe of what you hear and read. We cant stop media to stop saying negative about bitcoin or cryptocurrency. They earn money from that and they find a way or bases to depend the news they presented. So we have to be open minded and double check the information first before believing on it.

Do you think the media is trying to destroy Bitcoin and cryptocurrency ? I think they show 95% of the times only bad news. Why is this happening ?

Why only the bad, did not you see the news that bitcoin reached 10K ... 15K ... 18K. This is good news. Cheesy
Since the beginning of the year, there really are queries with the word "Bitcoin" in trends.google.

they are not trying to destroy anything, it is just that news sites are mostly click baits who do not care about bitcoin at all, they care only about making money. that is why they created the website in first place. and they all are like this, some more than others.
so when a bad news (usually FUD) is around they keep on exaggerating it to get more clicks and traffic and earn more money.

There is a FOMO brewing...

We all know that media is one of the main source of information and using media all information will spread out easily. But we didn't know if this information is accurate and true because not all the time when media releases information it consider as a true. Be wise, because sometimes they will release a constructed information that may lead you to a false alarm or fake news.

News agencies will publish whatever gets them clicks and views, and currently that happens to be sensationalist and inaccurate articles portraying cryptocurrency in a negative light. Most of the negativity comes from fake news going viral on Social media.

A lot of people who believe cryptocurrency to be illegitimate experience confirmation bias, often gaining satisfaction reading about Bitcoin's shortcomings.

The media will always do the negative spin, like many already have said, bad news sells. even when bitcoin was diong extremely well at the end of last year they used the bubble angle. Just the media being the media Smiley
I think the media are biased on their reports. These reporters should have done a thorough research before releasing to the media. To prevent bias, it is also important to know what is crypto.

I think the media is only doing what the media need to be doing in order to survive. Good news or bad news it doesn't matter to the media, as long as they have some news to deliver. This is why people keeps saying that you should never do day trade as the market is really volatile. But for long term hodler, the media is the least of their concern as they knew there's only 1 direction for the market, UP Smiley

A writer or author can only impart a true news if he or she would not express information without bias. The fact that everyone construct statements depending on their own perception and have any kind of criticism about it

Because they are greedy. They don't want to involve the society to the possible benefits that we can gain by investing in bitcoin.

Definitely true. They get paid for doing negative news about bitcoin. I am also doubtful and scared when I first heard bitcoin. I got curious and time goes by I realized that media is not that reliable.

Been biased against something good is always natural and i think the media makes more money when they give bad news to the public i feel irritated with what the media has to say to people giving wrong impression about bitcoin. They have actually done more harm than good

Media is always biased on what ever news item they posted whether on social media or print media, they tend to make the news item be taken by the viewer or reader as itwas real but often time is always one sided presentation, some are even fake news, with out hard fact. It is the duty one person to be more objective, gather more information about the said news then make a note whether it is a acceptable news or not.

bitcoin is currently very popular in this world, so if a lot of social media gives bad news about bitcoin, then it is a natural thing, because this is the competition of the digital world. experience all this time, every time bitcoin prices go down, there is always bad news in social media. but that's just people who do not like crypto.
Because of the popularity of bitcoin that is why media do some bad news. Even they scatter some news about bitcoin they do not succeed, because there are many people already believe on bitcoin. They just wasting their time, because most of people are already trust on bitcoin and they ignore that some bad news.

I think bitcoin and crypto are breaking the monopoly on the profits of the big media giants like Facebook, Google so they are being sabotaged by the media trying desperately to destroy it.

Unilateral if you blame the media when bitcoin prices goes down. The media have particular ethics when conveying information, if they make an uncertain news of truth I'm sure the media will disappear. Cryptocurrency users have a lot for now, have a power to fight or crack down any media that spread false news. The present situation is indeed the fact that, they convey news with right and you should get used to this situation. Do you blame the media too if bitcoin has increased prices?

The biggest media sponsors in general are banks and governments, they have a lot to lose with the rise of cryptos, they naturally try to manipulate information, but anyone looking to learn about it will see how these new technologies have potential and can revolutionize various niche markets.

We all know that Medias have been acting like a biased organization for a long time. They only care about their profits nothing else. Cryptocurrency brings opportunity for the people to be financially stable and Medias seeing it as a threat.
