I know a lot of people here heard about PoW and PoS, but Online is mentioning in its whitepaper something new and it's quite cool.
'Proof-of-elapsed time (PoET) is a relatively new concept. Coins are distributed based on the proof that the user was doing some specific action for a rather long period of real time. Proof of time algorithm was invented by Intel and it is mainly associated with their hardware platform that provides very fast consensus model. It generates random numbers (wait time) on miner’s nodes and then chooses the node with the lowest number.'

Yes i would like to know that too.There must be some competition. I was doing some research and from what I was able to see it seems that BAT would be the main competitor, seems to me they are doing exactly those things that OIO is trying to do. |

Wow, I must admit that this is cool, integrating something like that is quite interesting.Is OIO first project implementing PoET or there are some other projects too doing it? |

From what I'm able to understand OIO is like main thing , main value and ICE will be used as gas for daily transactions and rewarding merchants and similar stuff and also you will get ICE from staking OIO. If you know how NEO works, basicly that is the way OIO and ICE will work. |
