Not today, it is because ethereum is considered as altcoins and as you see there's a lot of new project with a great keep popping up but there's always a bad side. They have lack of budget, lack of execution, and/or they are only targeting the money of their investors. So be wise always when you want to invest with a new one.

NO, Ethereum is not; other cryptocurrency have now show forth the power of their usability in the real world. In my opinion, the next crypto to BTC is Ripple and not ETH. Ripple is now been used by companies as a method of payment in the real world.
