is it possible to recover or cancel transactions to a lost account?
i know " here is no way to recover an account if u don't know the correct phrase"
but what about transactions? they are lost too?
thanks

The transaction can expire before it's confirmed. Wait for a day.

the transaction can be confirmed only if a receiver is online at some time? I gues not.

Is there a Block explorer on here?
I would like to view Block #1 but cannot scroll down that far.

When will the full/software coin be launching?

You can currently send, receive and mine Nxt.  Other features are currently being worked on.  The distributed currency exchange is scheduled to be working around January 3rd, 2014.

Nxt is just as operational as any other cryptocurrency.

I am hanging on to all of my XNT for the future. One question, how do i access the interface after I have loaded the java?

As an early investor i do agree with this guys ideas. nxt is growing but i think the whole mining with a small balance puts ppl off. this coin

offer pool mining
> otherwise small holders never gonna see any mining profit for their whole life
> also if some small miner suddenly finds a block and there is no transaction in it...

redesign the interface, clean&professional look (offer bounty)
> the interface looks pretty amateurish(childish) right now

offer an all in one client
> offer the browser part optional

create a documentation with screenshots for new users for the interface
> easier entry for new users

create a detailed documentation on important topics
> mining, transactions, etc.

change the login to ID + password if possible
> more security

create an exchange
> no more forum only trades (risk of scams)

Create a central website&forum, including a blog about latest developments etc.
> all information & news in one place, also better for promotion of the project, transparency

Clearly explain and lay out all the benefits Nxt has, compared to alts/bitcoin
> again should help to promote the project and shows transparency

I mostly tried to offer some ideas, maybe you find it helpful. its obviously only my personal opinion..

btw, im not an early investor, i only got something from giveaways. (just so you know my background in Nxt)
[/quote]

As an early investor I agree with this aswell.

Gentlemen (and the occasional Lady),

DGEX has been relaunched as the first automated BTC <-> NXT trading exchange.

Due to time resource restrictions, the site is initially enabled as an automated orderbook & transaction facility, with escrowish manual fulfillment of deposits and withdrawals.

The site has been hacked up in a haste; although it's based on old and proven software, some bits and pieces necessarily remain that are not functioning optimally. We hope you'll let us know of any strangeness through the site's messaging page or on the DGEX Bitcointalk forum thread.

Functionality will be adjusted and improved during the days and weeks ahead. Suggestions, co-operation proposals, bounties & tips are welcome!

There are no trading fees nor any NXT transaction fees at least until the end of December. Bitcoin cashout fee of 0.9% is applied. If this is deemed too high by the community, alternative ways of compensating the transaction fees and other necessary costs can be considered.

Although the exchange is run under a business company, I'm also working on community basis as a way of life and am generally very fair and flexible with arrangements that benefit all parties synergistically.

Come and try it out, I'll be processing transactions for approx. another hour and then business hours from the North Europe are over for today Smiley

Next project is the Next community portal / forum site with some excellent gimmicks, coming up within the next ~10 days at nextcoin.org.

So, if I close out of the web session, will I still generate NXT as long as I keep the webserver running?

As long as you don't lock your account. I think?

I just transferred 1 Million Nxt to my account at dgex but when I enter the account number I sent it from into the form it says "invalid account number".  The Nxt account I sent it from has the account number 4777958973882919649  Please fix this.  Then I tried to send this via the contact page and I got a bunch of errors...

Let me be the first to say that the exchange looks like a window to 1990s. I feel like I traveled through time when looking at it, lol.

What does this mean? I'm guessing the blocks.nxt file can't be modified or something to that effect, but rather have a dev's opinion as I am sure I won't be the only one experiencing this.

java.io.FileNotFoundException: blocks.nxt The requested operation cannot be performed on a file with a user-mapped section open

Could u post the complete string with timestamp?

Sure, no problem, can't just copy and paste some I am typing out. There are 2 instances of this so far:

[2013-11-28 12:52:09.369] 11/49: java.io.FileNotFoundException: blocks.nxt <The requested operation cannot be performed on a file with a user-mapped section open>

[2013-11-28 12:52:34.842] 11/49: java.io.FileNotFoundException: blocks.nxt <The requested operation cannot be performed on a file with a user-mapped section open>

Thank you. These "11/49" the most valuable info.
