I contacted Bittware and they are delaying the release of the crypto version of the XUPP3R.
Looks like I may have missed out.

Sorry, I've been meaning to make a post related to this.  We have been working with the OP to determine the optimal configuration and board for this application, as we have a few to choose from.  The XUPP3R may not be the optimal one, we have other boards, including one with larger core power supplies and even the VU13P instead of the VU9P.  The OP is working to determine the combination of FPGA size, clocks, logic, memory and power use that maximizes ROI.  We do not want to sell you boards that may not be the best fit, that is in no one's best interest.

So you have not missed out, you perhaps have saved yourself from buying a non-optimal board (we actually have not yet taken any orders or shipped any boards to miners so no one is in that camp).  You can still contact us and we will get back to you as soon as we have enough details to let you place an order.
Oh wow, didn't think you guys read this!
Appreciate the response

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

I got the same email today. I'm very excited. If Bittware can pull this off an provide a cryptocurrency ready board then it is a good time tot buy shares. Assuming they are publicly listed.

Not to be a big skeptic, but can we see actual mining rewards / performance somewhere?
I get that you say the ROI is 70-200 but I dont see much evidence that its anywhere near that without some serious video/photos its hard to put trust in something without ensuring that it does what you say it does.

What I see is:
1) GPU mining is losing its profitable and ASICs are knocking down the doors, this causes people to find other outlets
2) The OP is probably getting a referral payment for any hardware sales with these two companies (if not, maybe he should? I dont know, being transparent about this would be best)
3) OP has the ability (or could?) to lock the device with a signature to only work with his software, which makes them paperweights if he chooses to do some shady things (not saying he will or thats the case)

I would prefer decentralization in this field, the only way that'll happen is to remove the barrier from entry between the manu and software, middle man are reaping the rewards here.

Can't speak for the OP.. Here's one of the addresses I was sending my BTC cash outs to. 39 BTC from 10/17 -> 01/18.

XCVU9P different algos, myriad-groestl during oct / nov I believe. With Keccak in dec / jan iirc. Apparently i'm also the only person ever to coin hop keccak and keccakc. The 2 are identical other than the header. Just need the pool server to tell the client if it needs to run a single or double sha for the coinbase depending which it's mining. It's like a 2 line modification in both the software and the server. I've been mining on these FPGA cards since june 2017.

But how much of that went back to Amazon?

I was using these FPGA's when an F1 (single FPGA) instance was $0.16/hr. But the prices started to creep up and I suspect that you had something to do with it.  Grin

45% -- Would have been lower but I lost a LOT in Jan 2018 when shitsmartcash got hacked

Oh yes, that was me. I was controlling the market as much as I could. Most FPGA i ever had at a single time was around 800.

Don't be, I wasted all my profits flying all over the world trying to raise $5M to build out a huge FPGA mine. All the investors thought it was too good to be true and did not believe that I was mining on AWS. They kept saying "why isn't anyone else doing this", "I love the idea! come see me!", "I want to introduce you to my friend! They're ready to invest! You just need to go see them!".  Roll Eyes -- Hey, at least I got to see india, china, hong kong, switzerland, germany, france Cheesy. Definitely never going to fly anywhere to meet an investor again though.

Ya, in some alternate version of reality I'm sitting in a mine with 3K fpgas cussing out whitefire990 for telling the world. For now, I'll have to settle trying to take the wind out of bittware's sales.

Aren’t we all cussing out whitefire990 for telling the world?

Poor smartcash, it’s not gonna know what to do with all the hashpower it’s about to get

take the wind out so your current farm doesnt have to compete with as much?

also @senseless, did you buy fpga or just rent while the price was low.

$MAID & $BTC other than that some short hodls and some long held garbage.

No, so they don't overcharge the community. They're a "how much you got?" equal opportunity bilker. They're quite disingenuous when trying to turn a profit. They wanted like $12K/board a year ago for the XUPP3R, telling me it was impossible to get pricing down to $5K/board. A month later, I had negotiated pricing they said was impossible. Now they want to come in here and screw over the community?  Kiss

also @senseless, did you buy fpga or just rent while the price was low.

I own 2x VCU118 used to proof designs and software. I leased as I was never able to raise the funds I wanted to build the FPGA mega mine.

Is leasing still profitable with the raised price?

Sorry, I've been meaning to make a post related to this.  We have been working with the OP to determine the optimal configuration and board for this application, as we have a few to choose from.

If you could include a table showing how much (LP)DRAM and SRAM (or low-latency alternative) can be hooked up to each FPGA, as well as the resulting cost, that would be very helpful. Thanks in advance!

The best thing to hook up to the FPGA would be a hybrid memory cube +$500. This would get you the same level of memory performance as HBM memory. The other nice thing, the HMC has a silicon memory controller on it along with some basic logic functions that can speed up certain applications (xor, and, or).

Can the hybrid memory cube be used with the VCU1525?
