Only USA was running the deal, avnet EU and AP always had a higher price. If you buy through avnet USA it will be $3995 per board. The promo ends in june. After that, the USA will increase their price as well. At that point my sig will be the cheapest buy option. If we can get up to a 10,000 unit order everyone would benefit from the reduction in pricing. I'm in Europe so unfortunately i cannot participate (taxes+shipping will just put the price at the same level as from avnet europe directely) Except for getting a dev kit for the fun of it you should rather wait for Bittware crypto version. I'm thinking of getting one dev just to be part of this but once thinks looks to be real ramp up with the Bittware models. Assuming they will become available

The stats for Smartcash (Keccak) on smartcash.cc looks interesting, for minimal change in number of workers, the hashrate varies between 2TH and 5TH. This is across the US and EU pools. https://us-mine.smartcash.cc/statsAnyone knows if this is just a display issue? I was thinking about the FPGA pre-tester but that is a huge number... It's the baikal x10 Thanks senseless, that would make sense. I can't find keccak in the supported list for the x10, I assume that is an unofficial mod to enable keccak on x10? It's baikal mining on their own units. They're also mining nist5. Baikal is using the x10 now to mine keccak and 2 more algos

Can you help with buying in Europe? Or will you deliver only inside US?

High pricing is the norm in the FPGA market unless you're moving 10s of K of pieces.

I'm noticing an uptick in the number of older GPUs available now on eBay. 7970's and 280x's. I wonder if the word is getting out already?
I'm very interested in acquiring a few of these FPGA's.

To be fair, those 7970's and 280x's are getting to the end of their mining lifespan I reckon. Also, turning 5 years old +/- many warranties will be lapsing so now is a good time as any to try to get a few bucks out of the ol' chuggers.

And what would you do with such hardware? I assume you can't make your own bitstream for mining.

Very nice hardware and beautiful setting, but for me that's too expensive I am guessing they are not in large stock is due to the fact Xilinx made these to be for development purpose. When the engineer is happy with his design then it goes to production with highly specialized custom board for their specific needs.

When the engineer is happy with his design then it goes to production with highly specialized custom board for their specific needs. With 4 weeks lead time they most likely build to order only. The chips much run out before but also unlike until this really is proven to work.

Hi @whitefire990 : Will there be enough support for a newbie like me to get a system like this up and running? I just recently managed to get a gpu rig going. Don't know if that's enough experience to manage this 'new' hardware. I'm interested in ravencoin. Is it also in the future to create bitstreams for this coin?

Support will probably be very limited. You will be able to mine only what whitefire will release except if you decide to jump head first in developpement so expect at a bare minimum 1 year without anything working if you are on your own and have limited developpement skill.
