These guys are in hot water come Oct. 1st, if you don't have your product or refund.

Possibly looking at bankruptcy.

Get your refund while you can! They are already switching to selling a new FPGA before the 1525 ships out. The 1525 was supposed to be shipped out last month. Wonder how long people will wait for ''batch 2'' on your pre-order money?

FTC is investigating...

ROFL... The money we sent is in Xilinx pocket. You know Xilinx a multibillion company
The surely want to make a $ 18 million scam...

Revenue   US$ 2.349 billion (2017) US$ 2.213 billion (2016)
Operating income   US$ 699.394 million (2017) US$ 669.881 million (2016)
Net income   US$ 622.512 million (2017) US$ 550.867 million (2016)

Haven't followed the thread recently, is there a spreadsheet where all the available algo speeds are present for th 1525 as for now?

60-70% of refunds that have been requested have been sent. Keep in mind, the funds for your board were sent to Xilinx. Xilinx hasn't sent us any funds back for the refunds. There is no preference to which store gets refunded first, the queue is the same and the order is based on the order requested. We are expecting to fulfill the remaining refunds in the next 7-14 days.
Can you send me a PM with your order number? I'll let you know where on the refund queue you're sitting.
@Senseless, PM sent.

Your 9P is probably $3000, you could buy 2-3x the luts for pipelines on smaller chips for that...

Hey GPUHoarder, thanks for the insightful posts. What chips would you use with 2-3x the LUTs for the same cost? Wouldn't smaller chips have a much lower frequency too? Downloading a table from Digikey the best I can get is a lattice LFE5U-85F-6BG554C; $0.4/kLUT, probably 0.60 by the time you add board assembly power etc. Without the 6-inputs LUT and at a much lower frequency. Reballed Virtex chips maybe?

My anger against what is wrong in the Bitcoin community is productive:
Bitcointa.lk - Replace "Bitcointalk.org" with "Bitcointa.lk" in this url to see how this page looks like on a proper forum (Announcement Thread)

If anybody is interested to buy BCU 1525 $250 cheaper, I have orders for   4 x no-RAM  version of BCU1525 for $3350  per card ( original price I  paid in June during the first group buy). Currently the RAM version is being sold from SQRL or Mineority for 3600 USD each. I still have an order for 4 cards alltogether (Allmine/SQRL).  If interested,  PM me here and/ or on Discord (@Cryptoman#0825).
PS: I am simply trying to expedite my refund.

5 times lower is almost spot on:

Keccak (Smartcash, Maxcoin): 136GH/s (17GH/s per card x eight)  ($160/day at Apr-30 prices)
Today Smartcash - $3.68/card =                                                    $29.44 for 8 cards (Sep 27 prices)
    Maxcoin - $3.77 =                                                               $30.16 for 8 cards (Sep 27 prices)

Tribus (Denarius, Virtus): 16.8GH/s (2.1GH/s per card x eight) ($304/day at Apr-30 prices)
Today Denaruis - $10.23 =                                                       $81.84 for 8 cards (Sep 27 prices)

Phi1612 (Luxcoin, Folm): 5.2GH/s (650MH/s per card x eight) ($456/day at Apr-30 prices)
Today Folm - $10.58/card =                                                   $84.64 for 8 cards (Sep 27 prices)

Update: Our BCU-1525 units are flying into the warehouse every day! However, the active upgrades (heatsink and custom shroud) and water cooling blocks are not in yet  Embarrassed . We will be contacting customers in groups determined by order date / time to ask if you would like to:

#1) Have your BCU-1525 shipped ASAP, as-is without the active cooler (everyone gets this) or water block upgrade (if it was ordered). The active cooler upgrade or water blocks would be mailed to you separately when they come in and you would need to install them yourself. This would void your factory warranty.

#2) Have your BCU-1525 shipment held back to wait for the upgraded heatsinks / water blocks to come in and have them factory installed.

It is currently expected that the waterblocks and active cooler upgrades will arrive at the latest 10/29. However, this is hardware and there are many improbable edge cases that could occur causing additional delays. (As an example, the truck carrying the blocks has an accident on the highway.)

Realistically, Monero/CNV7 is the only hope for these cards. And that too only if Monero does not fork again and they are able to do 40+KH/s at the minimum. Otherwise, the batch of 5000 FPGAs, plus other group buys, will just kill each other on other algorithms.

Once we finish work on our shell requirements for shipping (Expected to be finished by monday -- we are in testing now and everything looks good), we can continue working on bitstreams. We should be able to get lyra2z to 70-80Mh/s pretty quickly, Then we will focus on either neoscrypt (expecting 30mh/s +/-) or phi2 (pretty wide range here, around 100Mh/s starting is a good bet).

Monero will fork in october and the algo has been specifically changed to lower ROI on FPGA's. I am not sure what percentage it will drop though, I think it was 20% but don't quote me on that.
