Its not something which haven't happened before in crypto or in stocks as well, and will keep going on since that's how whales get into any of the booming markets. Since crypto is getting more and more recognition and getting accepted widely its attracting bigger and bigger investors who can actually control the markets with media and money both so anyhow they tend to get the market prices down before they can buy in huge chunk. I am not an expert or old into crypto but just my 2 cents why I believe bitcoin and all other cryptocurrencies price is going down for now.

The volatility of bitcoin is his advantage and at the same time a huge flaw. Big volatility of bitcoin attracts investors and traders, as it allows them to earn on fluctuations in prices. However, the greater volatility of bitcoins adversely affects the process of legalizing bitcoins by states that see it as a financial bubble and risky in investing it. Also, the greater volatility of bitcoin can eventually lead to its large price drop, as it contributes to its price increase and the emergence of panic. The volatility of bitcoin is inherent in him by nature and therefore will always be with him.

The reasons for bitcoin fluctuations:
1. Supply - Demand. Demand for bitcoin changes leads to variable bitcoin prices.
2. speculation These behaviors of investors have seriously affected the price of this virtual property.
3. Issues the rules.
For some people, legislative regulations are something 'bad' in the field of numbers.
4. Internal change.
Part of the attraction of Bitcoin is that there is no single entity that can control it.

Nobody can pinpoint why Bitcoin market becomes volatile. I think it becomes volatile when people are under the illusion that the market is collapsing. They sell their digital currency and it creates a chain reaction of selling out.

Why bitcoin is votality compare to fiat money. Many say bitcoin is not a good investment because it is votality.

What is votality?
liability to change rapidly and unpredictably, especially for the worse. this is the fast price change.

Why is the votality of bitcoin high?
Bitcoin is a low supply at the time of its growing number of users and it has become a demand for the masses. Many want to buy, Many want to sell in easy-word multiple transactions. When many bitcoin transactions are fast market movements and we do not know what might happen because of the emotion of the seller and the buyer may have the price increase or decrease. So the bitcoin is votality because of the small supply and in-demand.

Why is fiat money not too volatility?
Because the government is able to regulate a traditional money, they can make new money and just increase its supply so that it does not have a votality compare to bitcoin.

Note: This is my only opinion, if you have any opinion you can also share it.

Actually your opinion is right , bitcoin is volatility because it really has a great potential to go high in no time , just like what we saw during past years of bitcoin , and it could also fluctuates. Bitcoin is a high risk investment which means it can generate a lot of profits but it could also incur a lot of losses , over all bitcoin is just like stock market that are all based on the volume of investor , we should not compare bitcoin on fiat money because fiat money is just an instrument use for transaction while bitcoin is a form of investment.

I analyze the cause of bitcoin is very volatile because bitcoin increasingly loses confidence from society. This causes bitcoin increasingly abandoned its users and then the market becomes inactive as before. This situation makes the demand and supply of bitcoin decrease. This happens continuously so I do not know until when this situation becomes normal. Although bitcoin is still popular but this is a tough warning for bitcoin. If bitcoin can not restore public confidence then bitcoin will get worse.

Bitcoin becomes very volatile because the bitcoin is decentralized so that no official party controls the circulation and transaction of bitcoin. No party determines the benchmark price against bitcoin so this makes bitcoin difficult to stabilize the price. If bitcoin turns the system into centralization, it probably will not happen because bitcoin price is already determined by the official party. Centralized systems are also better at preventing bitcoin prone to use for crime. People will be more deterrent because their transactions can be tracked.

I studied this question about BTC and crypto in general, but i cant give clear answer. And no one can, otherwise it would be possible to more or less clearly assume its price in the market.

Bitcoin is a fast market movement and we do not know what might happen because sellers and buyers' emotions may have price increases or decreases so bitcoin is votality because supply and demand are small and possibly because of other coins affecting bitcoin instability

The main reason for the volatility of Bitcoin is simply because it's a decentralised digital currency, which means it's not regulated by the government.
not only that, I think supply and demands are also very influential on bitcoin volatility. quite reasonable if demands rise then the price will rise. while when demands down, then the price will also fall. and I'm sure demands on bitcoin are also unstable, surely people who pick bitcoin will always sell when prices look up and buy when prices go down. unstable continue to buy or continue to sell.

I think the reason/s why Bitcoin is "still" volatile because it is still "new" to people. Technology we should say is expensive (even though it's everywhere), meaning not all can afford to access technology, specifically "Bitcoin". Also, there are various factors that affect Bitcoin, one of it is the issues and speculations behind the cryptocurrency. Other people who don't have a broader mindset and open arm certainty to a new technology insists that Bitcoin can only cause "harm" and nothing but problem on the economy. Knowledge is power, and so as the people who have the capability and power to raise the crypto world is at hand, if a majority of the population of these don't have sufficient knowledge about what they are doing in the crypto world, then the market will go down to the depths of hell.

Volatility is part of bitcoin, therefore bitcoin still survive until now. It happens because the supply is limited, when everyone wants to have it at the same time people want to sell it. It will run continuously, even FIAT does not have any effect with bitcoin.

Bitcoin is still a relatively new technology. It's only 9 years old. The dot-com mania occurred many years after the invention of the internet, and right as the mainstream was beginning to use it. Bitcoin is going through a similar phase.

n addition to the demand and supply factor, the volatility in Bitcoin can also be driven to an extent by the holders of large proportions of Bitcoin. so if there are so many people will dump the coins it surely goes dump.

Because bitcoin is not specified by the government, so its price is always unstable. No body is authorized that, because the price is determined by market conditions, so the price is always up and down every second, minute, and hour. The amount of money coming into the Market is also one of the reasons for bitcoin prices to decline.

Yes i agree with your opinion, the fact that bitcoin is doesn't controled by any institutions or government also make the price of bitcoin is so unstable.

You are absolutely right, the fluctuating nature makes it much more volatile. It is really difficult to predict the  market price of our mother coin unlike with our traditional currency where one can follow the trend it is picking. Also bitcoin is decentralized and not regulated by intermediaries  or third parties
