Why bitcoin is votality compare to fiat money. Many say bitcoin is not a good investment because it is votality.
What is votality?
liability to change rapidly and unpredictably, especially for the worse. this is the fast price change.
Why is the votality of bitcoin high?
Bitcoin is a low supply at the time of its growing number of users and it has become a demand for the masses. Many want to buy, Many want to sell in easy-word multiple transactions. When many bitcoin transactions are fast market movements and we do not know what might happen because of the emotion of the seller and the buyer may have the price increase or decrease. So the bitcoin is votality because of the small supply and in-demand.
Why is fiat money not too volatility?
Because the government is able to regulate a traditional money, they can make new money and just increase its supply so that it does not have a votality compare to bitcoin.

Bitcoin is more volatile as compared to the fiat currency because it is decentralized and it is dependent on the demand and supply in the market. It makes bitcoin a good investment. |

Well bitcoin is so volatile because we can not control the demand of it for the people if they want to invest more on bitcoin then its market price will go high. Yet there could be some fluctuation like what happen as of this moment where market price could not go high. What could be the real reason for this because this is not already a huge whale doing day traders or the pool of investors doing day trading. There could be more reason behind why market price could not go high.

Bitcoin volatility due of some factors that affects the price of bitcoin in the market. Like bitcoin false news in the internet that said bitcoin will end so people be careful in investing bitcoin, and that news affects bitcoin price that people will be afraid if see this articles in the internet. Also dumpers is the one who affects bitcoin price investors afraid that btc will be continously decrease and doubt that rise again.

Yes bitcoin is volatile and those currencies which trade is high in the start of days then later the demand change the prices which is unpredictable and cannot be controlled.
Bitcoin is volatile because its value is unpredictable, bitcoin dont have constant value. Bitcoin is created that way, so its better to stay that way. Volatile is good when you are investing because you can earn profit from it when the price increase, you just need to be patient on waiting because when a thing is volatile, it takes time to increase. |

I think it could be because only a small fraction of them have large amounts of Bitcoin,So essentially, the price is based on the people's actions, it directly affects the activity of the price, hence volatility.

The reason behind bitcoin's volatility is always about the unregulated nature of bitcoins due to its decentralization. Being decentralized allows bitcoins to be free, but it comes with a price of volatility. Bitcoins have been known for volatility thus every investor has been taking advantage of this. |

It's a cycle. Media hype train. Normies buying at ATH. Inevitable dip. Panic sell. "bitcoin is trash"
People need to stop treating bitcoin as a get rich overnight scheme and more like the long term tech revolution that it actually is. Hop off the hype train and research, people. You will be wiser for it. If you want to gamble go to Vegas.

I think Btc is very volatile not only because of demand and supply but it is also because it has not gain general and global acceptance yet. That is why btc holders rush to sell because of FUD and that will directly affect the rate of volatility.

Because bitcoin was manipulated by large organizations, whales. Any market is manipulated, but btc transaction volume is so small that the level of manipulation easier.

Sir, it is 'Volatility'  . I guess the volatility of bitcoin is because of the manipulation often to occurred in the market. Peoples who own a great amount of bitcoin may able to pump or dump the price using their massive amount of coin. |

Sir, it is 'Volatility' . I guess the volatility of bitcoin is because of the manipulation often to occurred in the market. Peoples who own a great amount of bitcoin may able to pump or dump the price using their massive amount of coin. I want to add masses to your comment. Whales who are in possession of large amounts of bitcoin are one side, but masses, people who have some bitcoins also affect the market changes. Today we have too many traders if you ask me, and all of them wish to earn from bitcoin price fluctuations, and when we are in situation that most of bitcoin owners sell and buy bitcoin all the time we cant expect stable price. |

Volatility means Bitcoin's changing value! Yes, its true, Bitcoin's price is Volatility but it is not mean that Bitcoin will change to other coin since Bitcoin is the first among all crypto currency and most people wanted to have it. Today, we are still waiting and believing that Bitcoin's value will rise again.

why bitcoin is not as stable. because When there is so much demand for bitcoin in the market, the price will go up and then vice versa. That is one of the main factors why the price is so volatile that it can change in minutes. Other factors I see are news, positive and negative news pushing prices down and up.

Yes, I completely agree on all things that you have mentioned in your statement. Fiat money is not that volatile for the reason that there is a body who regulate on its use and production that is why its price does not goes up or down abnormally. Bitcoin, on the other hand, has no regulators because it is worldwide used that is why it is subject to sudden change that is why its price or value abnormally increase or decrease over time. |

Bitcoin is a digital currency and not a scheme that you can put much or less trust. just like the normal stock exchange where commodity are being traded, bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are being traded as well but due to unregulated nature of the cryptocurrency exchange market, the price of the crypto are very volatile. in just few hours the price of a crypto may be double or dropped greatly.however the price of crypto asset is influence by demand and supply. it means when a particular token buy order (demand) is higher than the sell order (supply), the market price of the token will increases. the price may fall again when traders are selling than buying the token
