I am curious about this project. Says this is a UK development, but the name was derived from a Filipino word "Araw" which means Sun.
Or maybe it was taken from another word that I am not aware of?

What I like about this project is that the bounty and airdrop were initiated MONTHS before the actual Pre-Sale and ICO.
That means the team is taking its time to promote this project and that would only lead to one thing - Success!

The name is after co-founder's son name AARUSH which means the first ray of the SUN! and ARAW means SUN!

Will this card be physical or can I request the virtual card? Do have a minimum investment to receive the physical card?

Thanks for the great question! We are going to have two ways to pay

1. A virtual card in Araw Mobile Wallet App
2. Physical Card

These both always be in sync with each other.

The virtual card is going to be our quick solution to achieve great adoption across the globe and Merchant Mobile App will be able to recognize Customer App virtual card for payments. We are aiming to integrate virtual card with Apple / Google Pay to enable touch-and-pay transactions to any card readers but this will be in our next phase after we have partnered with visa/master card - this will be our biggest challenge which we aim to start in Mid 2020.

For Physical card; based on your location and our support (we are going to start with the UK and then expand in Europe); there will be one-off minor fees for the physical card. We have few marketing strategies to increase the card adoption across the regular people and make them accustomed to present ARAW card for their daily payment.
