Yeah I saw that once. Still not easy for a non-native to know: 'th' is pronounced different in Thames and They I always thought is was something like 'Famous'

I used to say "they-mos" but after the hack, I started saying "thermos."
|

This is correct. It's actually a bit more like "theyrmos," but the "y" is semi-silent. If you're British, you've probably been pronouncing it correctly without even trying.
