can i make a suggestion
i have an idea i would like to propose. a long time ago partypoker had these step tournaments. so did pokerstars i believe.
to higher stakes sngs. i propose you do this. start at like .01 btc buy ins. and at the highest level 1btc. and everything in between. also make sure the prizes are mostly tickets to the next level.
this will increase the rake at your sites since people will have to keep playing. and you will get some higher stakes games going on on your site eventually.
Hey geoffreyqp, Thanks so much for your feedback! We actually do have sngs running with up to 2 btc buy-ins. I really like your thoughts about the prizes; I'll make sure that gets to the right people! Jenny i would structure it like this just as an example: probably all turbos, except for last step which should be regular or even slightly slower. all 9max. also you can adjust for 6 max or even 4max depending if you think the tables can fill. step 1: 1+0(no rake) chip buy in. top 2 get step 2 tickets. 3rd place get's step one ticket. (any overlay will be made back in future steps rake anyways) step 2: 5+.5 chips chip buy in. top 2 get step 3 tickets. 3rd and 1 tickets. (same not about the small overlay) step 3: 25+2.5 chips) chip buy in. top 2 get step 4 tickets. 3rd gets step 2 ticket. 4th get's step 1 ticket. step 4: 100+9 chip buy in. top 2 get step 5 ticket. 4th-6th get step 4 ticket again. 7th place wins step 3 ticket. 8th place step 2 ticket. step 5: 250+20 chip buy in. 2 step 6 ticket. 3rd and 4th win step 4 ticket. 5th step 3 ticket. 6-9th all step 1 tickets. step 6: 950+50 chip buy in. maybe out of 9 players pay 5th and 6th place step 5 tickets. 7th and 8th step 3 tickets. then split up the rest between top 4? 50% of what's left to first. 30% to 2nd. 15%3rd and 5% 4th. anyways that's just an example. you can see how the rake would be endless for you guys since players would keep getting tickets that they have to use. and it gives microstakes players the chance to win big for small upfront cost. also if games at later step just don't happen over x period of time, they should be able to play the tickets in heads up sng's as well for an easier buy out. didn't proof read this or anything, but i hope you get the idea!

Here's the problem with a step system: NOBODY IS PLAYING! Even if they gave away heaps of s1-s3 tickets through chat or random rewards, there is still nobody playing any SNGs, so you are going to have a handful of people with several coins tied up in s4/s5 tickets, nowhere close to being able to 'cash out' since no s4/s5 games will be running, let alone the final step. This is worse than having no games at all running as it would be all money in and no money out. Probably the smallest site that was able to successfully run a step program was Prima back in the mid 00s, and even that was rough going. They had several hundred people playing steps but were still only able to get off 1-2 final steps per day. With anything less than that, it's just not going to work.

in theory, they eventually should have to be played. unless the same players are winning all the tickets. i think there are a bunch of different 1 chip players. some of them would have to get lucky and earn there way to step 6. in theory.
and if they don't end up running. like i said towards the end. there should be an out given x period of time. even the ticket value that they have won.

Well first off, yes a lot of the same players will be winning tickets as the player base on Nitro is pretty bad. Secondly, for one s6 to run, it would take 9000 1 chip players. There just isn't the volume for that right now. And thirdly, we're talking about a site where people start screaming when their bets aren't graded 60 seconds after a game ends. Do you really think they will sit there and wait a couple months to play/get paid out on a SNG ticket?

Do you really think they will sit there and wait a couple months to play/get paid out on a SNG ticket? yes a lot of the same players will be winning the tickets. it only takes a few to get some step 6 running. and i can think of a couple players willing to buy in to step 6 directly, myself being one of them. as far as having to wait to play. that's the beauty of it for nitro. they will be stuck playing and giving rake. you might have some players who bought in for 1 chip giving 100's in rake before losing or winning. which they would never do since they are 1 chip players. however yes, a couple months, is definitely too long. which is why i keep saying the out given x period of time. i've said this for the 3rd time now in 3 post. all within the last couple post of this thread. partypoker had the same issue. even stars had it. i've had high steps tickets in both. and eventually they just paid me out the value of the tickets. which i would be fine with, but it should definitely not be right away, and given some time. midstakes games are drying up. this could be away to infuse the games and just a suggestion. would give mid/highstakes players something to do, and give microplayers the chance to win big.

I had a problem on the site and the ticket still hasn't been resolved. How long before can I actually expect to get answers by ? Do I actually have to wait 6 months for it ? Its already been 22 days. And the reply above was sent 15 days back.

No, see, that's a BAD thing for Nitro and the players. If someone plays, 'wins' 100 chips, and then has to wait "x period of time" (which will always be >one week), that hurts everyone. That player ISN'T playing and giving rake, because they have their chips tied up in the ticket. And if that player is someone who isn't a grinder and just wants to build up, that player isn't even playing more lower steps because he's waiting for his game to run. Less games run, no money is put into the economy for good players to win (which is what drives them), no money is being raked (which drives the site). I do agree that something should be done to drive traffic as the poker side is pretty dead. My suggestions would be to promote to poker forums (not just here) and create a promo that encourages action. I think they are on the right track with the bets-for-loyalty-level promo and last month's freerolls for hands played. My suggestion would be to create a weekly rake race, similar to WPN's The Beast promo which is VERY successful. They take 25-33% of the rake they make and add it to a growing fund, rewarding players with points based on their contributed rake (or dealt...but I think contributed is better as it encourages action). At the end of the week, players get paid out from the week's worth of collected rake based on how many points they earned (which is a direct result of how much rake they generated). Aaaaaaaaaand that's the end of my free advice haha.

But I do think the hourly freerolls should be atleast 5 mbtc. 1 mbtc is only 24 cents, and not worth the time.

How long have withdrawals been taken?
Hey DT3, Any caught withdrawals are taking less than 10 minutes to be processed Happy betting! Jenny What are "caught withdrawals"? I just made a withdrawal. It arrived 8 minutes later.
Hey Gogo, Some withdrawals are "caught" or flagged for a manual review. We always put security first! Our Support team has been doing an awesome job at processing those in only a few minutes. I'm glad to hear yours arrived quickly! Jenny Jenny, what percent of withdrawals were "caught" for manual review this month? (Hint: 100%). Stop advertising instant withdrawals! What you're saying here is incredibly misleading / flat out lying.

I had few withdrawals today. None of them were manual , and all of them were processed instantly. Even on Instant it takes upto maximum of a minute for withdrawals to be processed.

My withdrawals at Nitrogen have almost always been instant including a couple of days ago. I am a sports better but I guess poker players are more likely to have delays if Nitrogen need to check for collusion. When people ask me where they should bet on sports I tell them Cloudbet or Nitrogen depends on ... So I made this comparison table and flow chart to show the differences Explanation and details here, tell me if you think I missed anything. Have fun betting
