A small update from the Nitrogen Team...
First, we wanted to thank everyone for their patience over the extended downtime from earlier. We had a time estimate for the upgrades that we did, and we went over this estimate by more than we anticipated. We apologize if this affected you. If you have any concerns you'd like to address, please shoot us an email and include your user number.
As for the upgrade itself, you may have noticed that we've added a new service to our website. This service is designed to aid in serving content faster using a CDN and some creative caching, as well as offering an additional layer of protection from attacks. Please note that even with this service there is still never a "guarantee" that we won't see unplanned downtime. That said, we want to assure you that we're doing everything we can to work towards an overall goal of less downtime for our users.
We also wanted to share that due to the implementation of this new service, some of the features of our website may take longer for us to restore:
1) The exchange is currently offline (there is no eta as of yet, but we are hoping to get it up before the weekend-- no promises!
)
2) Support tickets are not functioning fully - if you experience issues please use email instead!
These are the main two items that we are aware of and that our team will focus on bringing back next.
