Bitcoin was a bubble and peaked at almost $20 before its been burst and then there's regulations and anti-bitcoin sentiments globally. Altcoins was also under heavy scrutiny with so many scams and fake ICO's that governments also keeps a close eye on them. So there's a lot of negativity for more than six months causing the market to struggle even up to this day.

I got to agree that, what looked as most promising tokens or crypto coins once are really hammered to the bottom and even some are just worth as dust. But I thinks it is just matter of time now, as Bitcoin is showing some sign of recovery, we might see all altcoins following the same trend sooner or later. it's happened a lot. I think some tokens that make bubbles for some time. and after that the price will fall and it's very hard to pump it back. except token with a very good project and always update. I experienced it several times. and all always dump. even before the pump.

Not all altcoins can win, there is some coins that is a bubble or a shitcoins at the day will come it would be disappeared.
The market are slightly increased but again it's still on fluctuations and we're not sure if is the start to recovery from the last dip.
