Guys and Gals -- it is with deep regret that I share this with you.  You've seen me promoting BSS coin for the last week since its launch.  Please see the notice up on http://bosscoin.org, and point your miners at something with real value -- StableCoin for example!

So, here goes the story of another shit / scam coin...   I met the founder of bosscoin (handle here is bosscoin btw) on Monday, the day of BSS' launch and offered him to help with the bosscoin.org site and community building.  Fast forward to this morning, below was the first revision that I took a screen shot of, which I was going to feature on http://bosscoin.org unless he returned my stolen LTC's.  



A minute after posting this, he redirected bosscoin.org to bosscointalk.org - to hide the scam home page I massaged to look pretty.

In my defense, I always wanted to work in developing an ALT coin and promoting it to build a strong community of supporters.  I liked the name and saw potential in the coin; I promoted the hell out of the coin even though I was waiting for him to let me know what sets it apart from other coins.  I asked him 20-30 questions per day that fell on deaf ears.  Yesterday, he promised we'll talk on the phone after a planned exchange of 50LTCs for BSS, I stayed up (stupid) til almost 1AM and he went AWOL.  This morning he said he transferred the funds.  I gave him an hour for BSS or LTC to show up at my account, otherwise I will do this, first tarnishing the BossCoin, and eventually him.

I will not reveal his identity, yet -- but when I do, feel free to let him know how you feel about having set up pools, mined and believed in BSS.  Personally, I apologize sincerely if I convinced you to get into BSS, as I naively thought the guy was truly sincere.

Lastly, if the BSS coin reaches an exchange (he is supposedly building one just for BSS and talking with others), please make sure it is as close to BTC 0.0 as possible.

Lesson learned.  Moving on.

anyone supporting BSS is an IDIOT! I mentioned it on the first page of BSS that the DIFF algo is ALL SCREWED UP...why would you guys trust a DEV with only 5 posts to develop a proper coin.

First off , 1440 block diff change is STUPID...the only coins that can survive such a huge block diff change is LTC and BTC....everything else gets raped and abandoned.

Second, everyone who is late to the game and thinks that backing any new coin will make them rich is daydreaming. Anyone who backed THCcoin got robbed because that coin had a keylogger. I wish this coin had a keylogger so you guys would learn your lesson

If this coin does by some miracle survive, expect a hard fork to change the diff issue.

My advice is, its not too late to back the more established coins.

WDC has Scharmbeck and will be going to BTC38 which means WDC/YUAN trading
DGC has CryptoAve going into Closed Beta this month, expect DGC/ARG/SRC to USD trading.
SBC has Artos  and is developing wallet coin mixing integration using the TOR network.

each of these coins is trading below a $1
take this from someone who watched LTC go from 23 cents, to 60 cents, to $1 (witnessed live on BTC-E) to $4....well you get the point.

Its not too late to back REAL coins with a REAL future...BSS is a SCAM just as CHNcoin is a SCAM....and CHNcoin is a double scam considering people are just mining and dumping that giant turd because it has NO REAL VALUE.

Oh and it won't be an easy decision to share his real identity with the masses.  Who here thinks I should?

Meanwhile, I gave [BSS] a life of its own, must have done something right, the net hash rate of 40MH/s isn't budging... lol

Reveal his identity if he really ripped you off. Thieves deserve ZERO respect!

BossCoin scamming people for 50LTCs    new name should be guppycoin 

Not to throw a pound of salt on your wound but:
They are/were all "scamcoins" till they survive and someone is willing to pay for them. Be it Litecoin or Junkcoin.
Also, why would you send a large amount( 1.7btc equivalent) of an already established coin to a fresh forum account before receiving a coin that was born a day ago? It was unfortunate that it happened to you of course.
