Will Doge Road be a bad or good thing for the value of Doge ?

If Doge Road proves itself then its definately huge pump for DOGE.

No bash intended, but many people can hardly get to their home page let alone navigate TOR.  Many better marketplaces on the way in a short amount of time.  The great ones don't say we're coming, they simply say we're here.

doge is dieing Sad

Really? I think not. Doge is just a puppy. It will live long life. You kidz are panicing on every little dump. Chill out and relax a little  Wink .

It's been just 3 weeks god's sake. Give it some time. People are so restless.

Thing is it will rise in long term, if you want it to rise faster, you have to promote it.
Its a coin based on a retarded meme...
Not that any other coins are based on anything better but retarded jokes tend to fade out faster.
A coin's value is based on the "game of zero" princeple. When a coin market has a fixed number of coins, its value increses and decreases with the amount of BTC diposited/withdrawn from the coin. The more BTC people deposit into doge the more its value is.
When a coin market contines "printing new money"(mining new coins), the amount of BTC invested has to continuesly grow in order to keep its current value.

My question is...what makes you think that in a few weeks/months people will start investing MAJORRRR btc in this coin?

*for the record I do have about 1m doge that im holding on to.

1 - DOGE has seen $8 million (or 11,000BTC) of market volume in last 24 hours.

- DOGE was mentioned by Reserve Bank of India along with BTC and LTC in their recent press release.

2 - No other coin in the history of cryptos has reached 4 major exchanges within 2 weeks of it's launch.

- All memes that come onto the internet mostly are born in reddit, 4chan, etc. So, this forum is not a good place to track DOGE's progress.
The sub-reddit of doge (/r/dogecoin) has crossed the total member count of Litecoin's sub-reddit only behing Bitcoin's. Today, it was selected as the fastest growing sub-reddit and awarded "Sub-reddit of the day"

- A Starbucks cafe based in South California, USA just started accepting DOGE.

3 - As of today, 50% newbies are coming to crypto because of DOGE (confirmed)

4 - DOGE is has climbed to 35% of network hashrate of Litecoin.

If this doesn't convince you, nothing can

1 false , show proofs

2 false , there are more coins that did that , and one of them even faster (buts it's just as stupid as doge or even worse so i won't advertise it here)

3 false , can't prove that

4 false , common Smiley get some glasses

Mac Wallet (v1.3) will not open. I'm on 10.8.5

It just starts and instantly closes every time.

Anyone else experiencing this?

It also has an odd symbol:

Hi folks, this http://doge.scryptpools.com/ this thread pool that has brought people tracking https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=362153.860 manual payments without charging 2 or 3 days. I notice so you know. Every day that passes without charging you'll put it here so that you are aware of and may be able to make a good decision on that pool work.

I recommend caution with this pool, at least until these issues are resolved and the manager tell us when you think pay us. Obviously, when you pay me, if you do, so you will know in the thread above tracking.

Again, caution.

You're that retarded to mistake trade volume with the market cap?
The trade volume is 500 BTC not 11 000.

Any charts that show dogecoin being at 27gh ?
Because the difficulty is almost 10 times smaller so ....

Are all doge fans that bad at math?

Think it's still worth mining today? If so, around how many dogecoins could I mine daily at ~700 khash/s rate?
NO BUY MY DOGECOINS INSTEAD

Ha.

Right now I'm mining at about 115 khash/s and getting about 2K coins a day. Can I reasonably expect to get 5x that if I moved up to ~700 khash/s?

6x more like it, and yes you can, assuming the network difficulty stays the same, as well as your reject rate and your pool's luck.

No luck in the pool is the usual reason; no payouts unless the pool scores a block. One advice is to go to a larger pool as that usually means more consistency in finding blocks.

Litecoin Difficulty:    2,849
Doge:  433.452.

See the problem?

Not sure how large netcodepool is, but I'm using multipool.us right now (their European DogeCoin-only-pool to be specific) and it's one of the bigger pools. Their DogeCoin hashrate is currently at a bit over 3 gH/s.

New pool up 1% fee. The fee goes towards the server.

It's a PPLNS Peer-to-Peer pool. The network does the payments, so they cannot be stolen from you. There is no central wallet so your DOGE's are safe.

http://scryptminer.nl:22550

You dont need an account, all you need is an address for the coin

The first thing you need to mine altcoins is a suitable mining software.

Then you just have to point your miner to the right port on our host scryptminer.nl.
Your username is a valid payout address for the specific coin and the password can be anything.

Here are some basic command lines to get you started!

Program   Address   Port   Command line
cgminer   scryptminer.nl   22550   cgminer --scrypt -o scryptminer.nl:22550 -O DOGECOIN_ADDRESS:x
