There have only been 17 posts in this thread in the last 3 weeks. That's a bad sign that people might be losing interest. This thread used to be really popular.
The community moved to reddit long time ago. The number of /r/dogecoin subscribers actually increased lately to 90,221. I was wrong, it was a good sign, dogecoin has started to moon since my last post here. |

I am new to alt coins and besides btc, have only one other type.... Doge... got myslef 200 free for something or another so I had to get me a wallet for it. didn't think much of them, but the more i learn and the more I see, i like the coin. So, I am hoping to build up a nice little sum and hopefully drive the price up by buying more, and stimulating the market a bit. Move these coins people!! send donations, buy things and pay in doge, just let the markets see the movements and it will rise.

but seriously - I like this alt, but I am a bit afraid to get in... in other words - is now a good time to buy?
I honestly think that DOGE will survive longer than 99% of the other altcoins. But this coins should not be taken too serious, buy some, hold them, spend then, give them away or sell them later, do it for the lulz. Exactly - Dogecoin is meant to be used. Pick up a few hundred thousand and play with them, pass them around, have fun. This is what makes it live, thrive, grow. Get rich quick. No. That ship already sailed. Will it happen again? Who knows or cares.  |

pump to 100 ? I don't personally think that DOGE has this much potential. FWIW, it seems several other alt-coins are on the pump as well the last couple of days, maybe something bigger is at stake... who knows? |

Doge has been on a steady march upwards..
I must say I do REALLY like doge. Very cheap to send.. the minimum block payout ensures it can always be very very cheap to send. Miners will continue mining forever as they get rewards thus keeping the network secure.. The doge community has done many good things.
Dogecoin is awesome sauce.
