There's no single "dev" for a decentralized currency so the assertion as stated in this way is rather idiotic. There was an individual who came up with the name, the idea, kickstarted the thing, but there have also been other contributing figures who updated the code, built android wallets, electrum integration, added DOGE to exchanges, and built their own sites using it. The foundation for Doge from a technical perspective is quite complete and stable, with the next advances to come from wider adoption and integration - using the currency more. If there is to be one dev whom it couldn't have been possible without it would be Satoshi, since the backbone of the software was created by him. But as everyone can see, his absence does not inhibit the growth of the coins and the ecosystem. And it is the same way with the Dogecoin kickstarter - it is irrelevant and only something that trolls use to attempt to negatively affect the sentiment around Dogecoin. |

does dogecoin still has active development like litecoin etc?
if ltc the testbet for btc, why isnt doge the testbed for ltc o.o
development active but is pretty slow - last commit to the dev branch was 3 months ago - there are about 800 forks of DOGE so there is likely some further development on one or more of those. |
