At the current price of 18 satoshi, I'm sad because when the DOGE price skyrocketed last May, I bought 0.35 btc when the price was 120 satoshi, hoping there will be a big recovery before the year ends.

is it safe to say it will never reach 1$ ? why people are impatient ? please wait a little and youll see It's not about patience, Doge will never be $1 because of its supply. When you predict about prices you should count on how high marketcap can go. This is the true today only as tomorrow you don't know what will be the situation . If the currencies crash people won't have many options outside of hoping that $ devaluation will stop or they will need to buy other currencies more stable or gold or crypto , yes yes the cryptos now are another refuge point and the next subprime crisis will be more difficult to bypass . Basically it is possible to see sudden jump of the market cap to 1-2 trillions within months , it's all depends of the economical situation . |

Devs need to be convinced to Add RSK(Smartcontracts) and lightining network(Unsure of Segwit) functionality to the dogecoin blockchain(just like BTC and LTC are doing atm). I believe then DOGE will skyrocket both in Usage and in price.

I quite liked the coin, but it doesn't really offer anything anymore in face of all the competition. |

It's very possible though. I wonder if Jackson Palmer would be down to host the escrow. We can pay a group of blockchain programmers out in India to at least put in the latest bitcoin security patches. Possibly with community voted roadmap or some shit. Better than the silent treatment we are getting now anyway. |

We would probably need some serious marketing to raise awareness of the revival in such a case though. And I don't know how well the timing would be right now considering some people tried to use Doge's name with an Ethereum token. I'm not really sure how to go about any of this either, but I would like to see Doge staying around for longer, just because of it's history and the nice community that is had in its golden days.

Yes, I think so, too. There are thousands of people in the world who love dogecoin and still have it in a wallet. everyone would be happy. you can not send such a great coin to death. something has to happen there. I have the doge already 2013 and will not sell it |
