The blockchain is about the size of the wallet.dat. Such silly answer. Much laughter Feel such guilt for my rudeness. Wallet.dat contains your private dogecoin keys. Wallet.dat can be much large if it has much keys or such small if it has such small number of keys. Blockchain contains all dogecoin transactions that have ever been made by all users and will be much much orders of magnitude larger than wallet.dat

Transaction fees are added to the block reward. When bitcoin/other coins mine out, the expectation that miners will continue to mine to get the transaction fee reward.

Looks like OP owner dislikes me. He is not listing my P2pool nodes... a seed nodes... Some pools listed in OP are dead... wow http://doge.gotgeeks.com:9555http://doge.dtdns.net:9555Both 1% fee, location: EU Use DOGE address as username and anything as password cgminer --scrypt -Q 0 -o doge.gotgeeks.com:9555 -u D00ge -p wow -o doge.dtdns.net:9555 -u D00ge -p wow
This way if one fails (restart or anything) you will still mine on another node.

Transaction fees go the miner that solves the block which contains your transaction. The idea behind transaction fees is to stop people spamming the blockchain with transactions making it grow to an unmanageable size. Someone sent you 0.529 because an address of yours was listed somewhere. Probably a bot giving tips or perhaps a mining pool payout. So much for the friendly happy clappy doge community. I'm a dogecoin agitator and I have to answer newb questions.

http://pool.chunky.ms1% PPLNS - 60 confirmations - 250 min withdrawal - cloud hosting - IRC - block notifications - scalable architecture - no downtimeNO DOWNTIME. I always had to change pools because of disconnects several times per day until I decided to run my own. Now my miners have been stable since we launched. Only 60 confirmations for payouts. Half of what most pools require. Because of rising difficulty and because I know there are a lot of miners without the greatest mining equipment, we've set minimum payout is only 250 DOGE. We also have a very friendly community on IRC.freenode.net in #chunky Come mine with us!
