...

Does anyone has any experience with, for example mining Doge, with a R9 280X?
I would like to know if it is worth to mine with this card.

The R9 280X pulls around 850 kH/s of scrypt hashing on optimal settings without overclocking, and that's not half-bad. However, if you're serious about making an effort with this you should try locating an HD7990 instead. It costs just marginally more than the 290X but does around 1350 kH/s before overclocking, and can reach 1500 kH/s with a tiny amount of overclocking - assuming you can manage to cool it properly so it doesn't throttle down from the heat.

I was laughing so hard at this HITLER PARODY Video!!!   SO FUNNY! MUCH PARODY!

But I think DOGE actually helps Bitcoin. But the video is still very funny.

off topic, but what did you do to get 850 khs out of a 280x?  I've got two (sapphire and a gigabyte) and under win 7 x64 i can only get 750Khps out of both ( total around 1500Khs.  here's my config:

I think people mine for MUCH PROFIT.  But if DOGE loses it's fun;  it lose it's value.

Making money can be fun.  But even when value goes down, Keep it fun!

DOGE to the moon!

Go here to request Dogecoin to be added.  This is a crypto payment processor that supports many cryptos.  Let's get DOGE added!

https://www.coinpayments.net/index.php?cmd=coinreq

Ignore * Note: Coins already on the list don't need to be requested again * because Dogecoin is not on the list.  The more requests the better chance to have CoinPayments handle DOGE.

Done.

First off, set your lookup-gap to 2. Then, try stepping your intensity up to 16 or 17 - not all GPUs max out at intensity 13. Also try a higher thread concurrency, like 32765. Also also, try not setting the shader count at all, as it sometimes turns out better when cgminer determines the optimal value itself. And finally, also also also, see what happens if you don't set gpu-dyninterval at all.

Give this simple line a try and let it run a minute or two: cgminer.exe --scrypt -o <host> -u <user> -p <pass> --intensity 16 --lookup-gap 2 -w 256 --thread-concurrency 32765

See what happens. You can also try two rendering threads, by adding -g 2, to see if that changes anything.

edit: Scratch all of that. My bad - for some reason I kept reading 290X instead of 280X. My apologies. Roll Eyes
