Stompix is behaving like he has a jackfruit in his ass... Whiner and Loser  Grin  Go derail your own coin..

yeah , this is what i get fro defending your clone coin from real FUD the other day:

http://techcrunch.com/2013/12/25/dogecoin-hack/

Thats one but there are multiple sources.  =( sigh

A service using doge was hacked.
You know the difference between a website using a crypto and that crypto protocol?

A lot of websites using bitcoins have been hacked , including mtgox.
But the bitcoin protocol has never been hacked.

Spend some more time in the newbie area. With this kind of FUD you're dangerous.

It seems that most of you are just rabbid dogs , biting the hands that feed you.

I predict this meme will be dead in 6 months and no one will be talking about this at all in a year. Doesn't mean there isn't money to make today.

New pool up 1% fee. The fee goes towards the server.

It's a PPLNS Peer-to-Peer pool. The network does the payments, so they cannot be stolen from you. There is no central wallet so your DOGE's are safe.

http://scryptminer.nl:22550

You dont need an account, all you need is an address for the coin

The first thing you need to mine altcoins is a suitable mining software.

Then you just have to point your miner to the right port on our host scryptminer.nl.
Your username is a valid payout address for the specific coin and the password can be anything.

Here are some basic command lines to get you started!

Program   Address   Port   Command line
cgminer   scryptminer.nl   22550   cgminer --scrypt -o scryptminer.nl:22550 -O DOGECOIN_ADDRESS:x
cudaminer   scryptminer.nl   22550   cudaminer -o scryptminer.nl:22550 -O DOGECOIN_ADDRESS:x
cpuminer   scryptminer.nl   22550   minerd -o scryptminer.nl:22550 -O DOGECOIN_ADDRESS:x

Server has been updated to get us more shares in the network, we payout 110% of your accepted shares. Enjoy! There was some downtime because of the server not being configured correctly. This has been resolved! We payout every hour!!!

You can't be more wrong... this meme has stronger legs than you think, plus it's cute and funny. Also Doge isn't trying too hard to be fun like catcoiners does, it's naturaly funny.

its p2pool so how you pay 10% more and how you payout every hour? its impossible to know when you will get a block..and its impossible to ad 10% extra to p2poool payout...its magic?

4. Considering current Litecoin hashrate is 90 gh/s and Dogecoin is at 25 gh/s, it's currently at 28% of its hashrate.
Shocked

also, litecoin has dropped in difficulty twice this week, down from 31xx to 28xx.

litecoin is dying, not doge.
to be fair, LTC had it coming.

hashpower and difficulty spiked when LTC went to $50, but ever since then it had lows of $10-12 and hashrate didn't drop (meaning nobody moved to more profitable coins and kept losing money on LTC). DOGE simpy helped correct both hashpower and difficulty for LTC, putting it more in line with its real market value, and nowadays more people is aware of the fact that LTC is not the most profitable alt coin anymore so they mine other alts for better profit.

Be aware that now that diff dropped considerably (about 10%) and prices are back up ($22.6 as per coinmarketcap), miners are returning to LTC as you can see in the following graph: http://bitcoinwisdom.com/litecoin/difficulty, and difficulty will return to 32xx in a day or two.

4) what is wrong it is wrong ,
also nobody explained yet why the hashrate is only 1/4 but the difficulty is 1/7

becuase the coins have different payouts, block rewards, and final total number of coins?  do you not understand math with more than 1 variable?

also, i'd like to point out you asked for proof, someone gave you proof, and now you claim the proof is wrong.

nice troll.

Are you insane?
Do you know what difficulty means? What hashrate is?
I expected the dogefans to not know too much about cryptos but....
Block rewards affecting the difficulty?
What crap are you smoking doggie?

Maybe because litecoin last diff change was 8 days ago....

10 day chart: http://litecoinscout.com/static/ just look at the ltc hash drop. I like both coins but it's pretty obvious why the hashrate is only 1/4 but the difficulty is 1/7. The next ltc diff correction will adjust it.

No?

* sigh... I need to look at the charts better before posting. Apparently that chart is only through the 22nd? But my point still applies I believe. Thanks WaldoCarter for the better chart: http://bitcoinwisdom.com/litecoin/difficulty

I'm not a techie here, but i think u are rite about the block reward doesn't affecting the difficulty.
But i do know that block timing has something to do with difficulty.
the block time for doge is to be maintained at 60sec by the difficulty change with the increase or decrease in network hashrate. but in the case of litecoin the block time is 150sec.
And hence the difficulty is 1/7th when the hashrate is 1/3rd.

So if you don't like DOGE i advise you to stop trolling here and read some crypto literature before shooting out at dogefans. Tongue

Even when a non-techie like me could understand this, i really do feel pity for you....  Tongue  Tongue

the block time for doge is to be maintained at 60sec by the difficulty change with the increase or decrease in network hashrate. but in the case of litecoin the slock time is 180sec.
And hence the difficulty is 1/7th when the hashrate is 1/3rd.

Another one!!!

No really , isn't anybody is this forum having a clue about hashrate and difficulty?
God damn ! Use the search function for god sake at least.

I guess people in the main forum were right , don't try to talk some sense into doge fans.
