Why the fork?

All I have to do is unzip the QT client right? And replace all old files with new one?
maybe check in the dogecoin thread for some information.
Only 482 pages to go through... Luckily I found this.

This things has been uber forked. I bought 42k then placed many bets with v1.2, before learning about 1.3 last night. And now its 1.4 lol...

The 54k made it to Vircurex yet the client shows 45k as unconfirmed. Nothing is adding up..

http://dogechain.info/address/D6F9Bu8N6HVPacNre4qwSsLN71mqAPEFRx

i think vircurex was on the wrong fork, along with coins-e

vircurex is fixed now, no idea about coins-e

Vircurex was fine all along. The unconfirmed txs are all roulette bets and yet my final balance remains uneffected. lol

Happy forking ! Tongue

Wondering, what specialty did you see in dogecoin that you opened a dice website for none other coin after BTC based one but only DOGE?

why dont u put that fix here??? lol its offical dogecoin thread?

http://www.reddit.com/r/dogecoin/comments/1ugep1/after_v14_update_how_i_fixed_the_11dbexception/

Quote
    download v1.4
    goto %appdata%\Roaming\DogeCoin
    backup your wallet.dat
delete all files in this folder (e.g. move all files to a folder, wallet.dat being the most important)
Start v1.4, wait for synchronizing to finish. This takes a while.
    Close v1.4
In %appdata%\Roaming\DogeCoin replace the newly created wallet.dat with your old wallet.dat
    Start v1.4

Your balance should be visible. To be sure, check if the number of block in v1.4 is the same as on dogechain. Oh, and did I mention that you should back up your wallet.dat?

Edit: /u/ITSGOINGDOWN writes: "A better way would be to delete everything EXCEPT wallet.dat, and just start the dogecoinqt 1.4 after that. Worked for me as well."

But still you should backup your wallet.dat, shibes Wink

^ Dooglus a question for you

Wondering, what specialty did you see in dogecoin that you opened a dice website for none other coin after BTC based one but only DOGE?

That's easy.  Doge is very marketable and it's is going to the moon!  Cheesy

But I would still like to hear Dooglus elaborate.

>price drop to 30 satoshis
>untimely fork [recoverable... if a dork like me can patch up to a qt1.4 wallet, it's eminently doable Grin]
>I still believe in Doge long-term, but I did decide to reduce my position 40%

>EarnCrypto is still holding 3750 Doges I earned, almost a week now Angry

>Buncha coupons from Harbor Freight tools
[unbelievably, a competitive dirt-cheap alternative,
along w/ the garbage bag of aluminum cans/foil I keep under my kitchen table.
No, I don't give 2 fux what's in your safe.]

Are you sure you are on correct blockhain? (check block numbers in the corner, and compare the to dogechain).

I think according to bitcoin protocol transaction should be resent again to the network after 24 hours.

Best community mining pools: 0% fee, stratum, PPLNS, fast dedicated servers, great support

The difficulty is not falling while the price is-expect less mine-and-dumpers from Multipool because there will be more profitable coins to mine and the block reward will halve in just a month and a half so expect some nice rise there because only the believers will be left. I say buy and hold at anything less than 45 satoshi
