Please excuse my ignorance, as I can't find an answer to my question.
(I am linked here from Aika)
I recently borrowed a buddies ASIC miner to process Doge for a day. (To see what mining is like, plus hodling doge at Robinhood for a few years now / I know please laugh)
I see my average hashrate is 500MH/s averaging 30 coins a day.
I do not see these coins "accumulating" in my account/wallet.
The question is, I am putting in work, to "mine a block" and then the block is found it is distributed among the pool members and their given work, correct?
It appears this can take many hours or years to process, correct or am I doing something wrong?
Sorry for the newb question...

It is difficult to know where the peak is, historically the annual maximum has been between 57 satoshi in 2020 and 150 in 2017 (not counting the initial great peak when the supply was very low). The lowest valley has been reached this year with 15, and in 2018 it was 37. Currently with a value of 24 it is not even a peak. https://i.imgur.com/HWRmpb0.pngI was hoping the price would drop as low as 12 or 13 before a larger bounce I think that even in the worst moment in its history, Doge never went below 15. Below 25 it is already interesting to buy, and below 20 it is highly recommended It looks like doge could return to a new peak above 60 satoshi I was totally sure that this would happen in 2021, since this happens every year, what I did not imagine is that it would be so soon I think we'll know the peak once Bitcoin goes sideways or retraces from what looks like it might touch near 40k this run Well, it already reached 40k. The good news is that Doge has stayed at 1 cent. This could continue with Btc at 50k and a Doge falling to 20 Sat. A bullrun during this year to 80 Sat as in previous occasions and 4 cents is possible, even 5. Although 3 may be more realistic and probable.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. I have seen tips of thousands of Dogecoins. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain.

I'm not sure if it's profitable today, maybe you should try Litecoin, which uses the same system

I'm not sure if it's profitable today, maybe you should try Litecoin, which uses the same system I understand it may not be profitable, but I am curious as to why I don't see any coins "accumulating" in my Aika account? Does a block have to be found before coins are sent? (Dumb question I suppose...lol) I am assuming so? Or am I supposed to see "~30 DOGE/day" accumulating in my account while I mine at that average rate?? Just confused as to how the coins actually show up in my Aika account... I have a wallet setup and added that to my account as well.. Sorry for the silly questions and thanks for any input.

The matter is tho, I don't care for the fiat value of crypto. When I trade.. It is for the purpose of increasing my bag of BTC or the altcoin(s) I'm trading. Something a lot of noob traders don't do, and make mistakes along the way. Don't focus on the $ focus on the crypto. 1 Ɖoge is and always will be 1 Ɖoge. I said the same about Bitcoin to a tweet that asked what the prediction value of Bitcoin will be in 2021

If you believe the indicators of the coinmarketcap, then today the capitalization of DogeCoin has increased slightly and I believe that this is a sure indicator that some investors are starting to buy this coin before the takeoff. Is that true though? Does anyone know who the owner of DH5yaieqoZN36fDVciNyRueRGvGLR3mr7L is? They HODL 22% of the supply and just in the past few months they have been transferring huge chunks of DOGE worth 5 million a pop at a time. That's a lot of fun money to transfer, and how many uber wealthy people even know of DOGE? Elon fits the bill perfectly, for him $5 million USD DCA would be pennies for the average person, and Elon has clearly shown that he loves DOGE. I think that address belongs to Elon and he recognizes that BTC is too heavily regulated and now relatively inaccessible to the majority of the world's population. Add into the fact that BTC's halving algorithm is flawed in the long run and DOGE becomes a worthwhile competitor. DOGE has so much going for it, hidden technical I would call them, over the next 10 years. Plus 1 DOGE = 1 DOGE. Much fun. wow.

Though Musk is interested crypto would he be interested in DOGE knowing there is an endless supply without a cap? I see no reason that provides any conclusive evidence that Musk is the owner of that address (DH5yaieqoZN36fDVciNyRueRGvGLR3mr7L) but the numbers involved are staggering. The owner of that wallet is transferring billions of DOGE at a time and has been doing so since 2019. Is that true though? Does anyone know who the owner of DH5yaieqoZN36fDVciNyRueRGvGLR3mr7L is? The thought crossed my mind but they have been sending billions of DOGE there, phenomenal amounts yet those amounts involved just do not seem like exchange type behaviour. This seems to be somebody who is trying to own as much DOGE as he can. The current balance on that address is: 28,361,817,691 DOGE CMC shows there approximate amount in circulation: 127,942,437,987 DOGE CMC shows: 28,361,817,691 DOGE x $0.009449 current price are worth around: $267,990,815 An example: 28,361,817,691 DOGE x $0.01 are worth around: $283,671,176 An example: 28,361,817,691 DOGE x $0.0125 are worth around: $354,522.712 Just $0.01 increase in DOGE price makes the owner $280 million richer because of the amount they hold. If there are 127 billion DOGE circulating and just one address has 28 billion DOGE, that is a huge colossal amount of the whole circulation. Imagine holding so much of one particular crypto that if the price went up by just $0.25 you would be looking at your holding worth over $7 million more. Much wow.... DOGE has so much going for it, hidden technical I would call them, over the next 10 years. Plus 1 DOGE = 1 DOGE. Much fun. wow. Yes all very interesting. You'll observe that the address first goes live a couple of months (02-05-2019) before Elon's first Doge tweet (end of march 2019). It's possible Musk mentioned DOGE back in 2017 (in FEB and NOV) as there is google trends data for that "elon musk doge" but I haven't found that evidence yet. Personally I don't think it is all coincidence, but yes the evidence is by no means conclusive. Certainly a massive crypto whale of some sort. To own 20% of DOGE which has floated in the top 25-50 coins for years now, and doesn't have an organization, VC, or DAO behind it, is very notable. If anyone has further information or speculation please share.

Even though this person or people are holding 20% of the Doge supply which doesn't normally sit well with me when a huge whale owns a lot of the supply however this could be a positive because it shows that whoever this person is that they believe that the price will go up in the future. The only down fall is that for this person the price doesn't need to go up much to make a lot of money and could easily dump and bring the price down. It will be interesting to see what happens when Doge has the next leg up which could be soon.

Dogecoin is oscillator altcoin in the article The two types of altcoins. It is a long time since the last run of Dogecoin in 2020 when DOGE price reached 60 satoshis. If the oscillation is repeated, it can have another amazing run this year. In December 2020, Dogecoin has a good run but it did not claim the 60 satoshi price. I hope, certainly as I have Dogecoin in my wallet.

Recently, I have been using the Atomic Wallet to store my assets in DOGE cryptocurrency and I want to say that this is a really very good application as a safe haven. But I am concerned about the fact that recently the commissions have increased and for the minimum transactions I pay at least 5 DOGE COIN coins. Is this normal or do I need to change my wallet?

Why is synchronizing to network so unbearably slow for DOGE?
All other coins I've tested are so much faster to synchronize to network and download the blocks. DOGE is in a category of it's own, unreliably slow to catchup.
My wallet took more than a week to get the blocks synced, even then if I forget to open the application daily it might take an hour or such to sync.

What wallet are you using ? I've opened some minutes ago my DOGE core wallet, after 1 month, and it say 75 minutes of estimated time to resync the 4 weeks. So in one hour it can sync quite a month. Well i have to say that is on a pc with SSD an i7 processor and with 24Gb. of ram.... could be that also is your hardware that is not very performant. SSD give a big boost to wallets. Cheers Edit : Wallet just finished sync, 4 weeks and 2 days in exactly 55 minutes.
