I thought this thread would be filled with posts as Doge coin is close to 10 cents. As I have said previous, I'm not getting too excited until we see Doge coin break its ATH in sats which is still over 50% off, until then I'll be calm and just watch.

Well I was one who thought we would never see this happen. Still Doge is a long way off its ATH in sats though. If this rally continues, we could see Doge break its ATH in sats and that would put the price at around $0.60 - $0.70 depending on the price of Bitcoin.

People are excited about dogecoin nowadays. It is now at the record high and also Elon Musk has really added some value to it but all is speculation. Try not to be excited .

Dogecoin was performing well even before Elon tweeted about it, but with him kind of backing it up it just went crazy. I guess he isn't done with his efforts to pump this thing up even higher.

Yes, Doge has overtaken UniSwap and Litecoin but has a long way to go before it overtakes Polkadot. I believe Doge also broke 300 sats on Binance which is what I wanted to see. If Doge can sustain the price at around 250 - 300 sats for a couple of weeks then anything is possible and we could see Doge hit $1 in price.

Well it even got up to 475sat at Binance. I didn't see that coming. $1 is way too high but let's enjoy this price for the time being.

I expected a dump when it got upto but that still didn't come. But before it gets even higher the bagholders will just dump all their coins. No one would buy doges for $1 each.

Anything can possible in the crypto market, but no such expectation about Dogecoin, to reach 1$ it might take a long time because the supply of Doge is crazy. If Doge manages to stay at the current value we might see the price of Doge will cross 50 cents, but don't know after that how long it will sustain at that price.

Honestly I did not saw that one coming as soon as now. As it's in the top 10 cypto now by market cap, I believe the growth will even flourish. $1 incoming!

I always wrote the chances of it ever reaching $1 but for it be currently trading at $0.263 is just amazing therefore I will not write off it ever reaching $1 in the future during the next two or three bull runs.

I don't know anything for sure right now. I haven't learned enough about trading to say how likely it is that DOGE might make it to $1, but it's not impossible at all. If Bitcoin's strength were to decline, and I think it will at some point, this could lead to a new rally in DOGE. More speculative buyers may even try to push the market above $1.

Now for the bad news. I think that I see no fundamental driver that would keep DOGE's momentum going at this point. All of the hype over the last few months has been rooted in Elon Musk's shilling. All we know is that he is the only one pumping this altcoin. I'm not sure why. But what do you think will happen if he doesn't resume?

Doge surpasses Polkadot and is very close to Cardano and Tether


Beyond prices and rankings, considering that most cryto (including bitcoin) serve other purposes than currency for ordinary people, and considering popularity, Doge is very well placed to become the currency of the internet. At least informally in entertainment use, especially for young people and the new generations who are the future of the internet. The problem is that the 1 doge fee is no longer so cheap. I wonder if it could be reduced. The minimum amount needs to be reduced.
