A real well thoughtout fork with a solid team behind it could work wonders for Dogecoin and bring it to a new level but so far nothing has happened.

They are trying to play on the Dogecoin meme but they are nowhere near being in the same league as Dogecoin.

I never heard of shibatoken before reading your post but it is not really a fork it is an Ethereum token which has lost 57% value in the past 24 hours.

I could be interested and support a real fork of dogecoin that was intended to improve the currency in terms of development, which is what many people want, for example a core wallet that does not sucks, and lower fees, since they are currently excessive, perhaps based on PoS with limited supply, and other current technologies. The fact that it is a fork would somehow guarantee massive community support and legitimacy (I guess).

But other opportunistic shitcoin that only wants to take advantage of the popularity of dogecoin to do business? never.

Maybe there are so many shitcoin that want to take advantage / take a doge face from the popularity of the market or the cryptocurency business, but in fact, until now, doge still exists and can even compete with others.

Looking at CMC nearly the whole wall is red. Prices are falling fast and Bitcoin has fallen to sub-$50,000, it is not looking good for investors.

Doge is following Bitcoin's Correction. Also, news of an increase on capital gains taxes rising to 43% in USA may be a factor in this market dip, or JP Morgan is naked short selling the hella out of bitcoin futures to buy back the bottom so to "stand for delivery" and riding it back up. A similar playbook done in the precious metals/general market manipulations.

Guys, I am mining with aikapool, yet I don't understand the reward system. I am mining for 3 Weeks now and it shows less "DOGE Est. Earnings" each day before I start mining... What exactly does this all mean, how does payout work, any ideas?

After all these years in crypto I am still mystified by DogeCoin. It was considered as one of the shitcoin with massive marketcap that was derived from bitcoin. Somehow it survived and still making headlines in crypto space. Kudos to the men and women behind this project.

I'm having difficulty mining dogecoin with aikapool using cpuminer. When cpuminer is running aikapool shows nothing for my active miners. I'm on an old macmini that is not doing anything else useful.

The command I am using is this: ./minerd -a scrypt --url=stratum+tcp://stratum.aikapool.com:7915 --userpass=username.miner:thepassword

       (I am obviously using my username/password/minername).
I get this as a response:

If the team behind Dogecoin were active they could have made Dogecoin bigger but they seemed to have stopped giving time to Dogecoin a long time ago.

How it managed to survive so long with such a big circulating supply and remain popular is a story in itself but it is good to see it stay the long course.

Dogecoin has always been the currency of ordinary people.

Litecoin is no longer the accepted altcoin, now it is Dogecoin



After a decade almost nobody uses Bitcoin, people only care to buy and sell, to get dollars.

Time is up, Dogecoin must start doing what Bitcoin did not achieve, which is that people start using it on a daily basis on the internet.

Thanks to its proper supply, the dollar/euro parity in the future will make things easier.

This just shows how much of a big influence Elon has on many people. In my opinion its a dangerous game investing into something just because a well know personality tweets about it but that's the world we live in now as social media has a lot of influence on a lot of people. Congrats to the guy on becoming a millionaire as it takes balls to invest over $180k into a coin like Doge coin.

I believe you need to wait until a block is found then you will see your earning increase.
