Heroes deserve worship, of course!

The dictionary defines "hero" as "a person of distinguished courage or ability, admired for his or her brave deeds and noble qualities." But can we apply that definition to Elon Musk?
A real hero goes out of his way to help others, but if that action also benefits him then he doesn't really qualify as a hero since he's acting out of self-interest.

I'm not defending Elon Musk, but see that even the hero is selfish and acts out of self-interest in an unconscious way. His actions and results derive from his desire to want to accomplish something, even if those results do not benefit in some kind of value, but the benefit is still in the pleasure of accomplishing something. Of course there is no comparison with that of promoting DOGE through Musk.
DOGE found good resistance at $0.70.

if you mean inflation, a supposed limited fork would be something like "dogecoin gold". The number of coins could be reduced using the megadoge, each megadoge would be worth $650k

To use it as currency the current number of coins is ideal. The irony of the joke is that a highly absurd amount of coins were mined, however now I understand that the absurd is a coin with lots of decimal places to which you have to add another messy amount for the fee. I hate bitcoin for payments, it gives me a headache.

That said, the minimum fee for dogecoin should currently be 1 cent of doge.

p.s.  Doge can move any value from wallet to wallet with a minimum commission of 1 doge.
        This is enough for it to exist perfectly and expand the user community.

It was a great run and we can easily say Elon move DOGE from bottom to 73 cents but it looks like this run is over already. If you made money congratulations to you, if you bought at the top sucks to be you. Always buy the rumor and sell the news. It's unbelievable to see DOGE trading at over 70 cents, this was an incredible year for DOGE. I always have a feeling DOGE to stay in crypto currency business but temporary 4th spot was unexpected to everybody.

Elon Musk’s SpaceX will launch the “DOGE-1 Mission to the Moon” in the first quarter of 2022, with the company accepting the meme-inspired cryptocurrency as full payment for the lunar payload.

Geometric Energy Corporation announced the dogecoin-funded mission on Sunday, which SpaceX’s communications team confirmed in an email to reporters. The mission’s financial value was not disclosed.

DOGE-1 will fly a 40 kilogram cube satellite as a payload on a Falcon 9 rocket, with Geometric Energy Corporation saying its payload “will obtain lunar-spatial intelligence from sensors and cameras on-board with integrated communications and computational systems.”

SpaceX vice president of commercial sales Tom Ochinero said in a statement that DOGE-1 “will demonstrate the application of cryptocurrency beyond Earth orbit and set the foundation for interplanetary commerce.”

“We’re excited to launch DOGE-1 to the Moon!” Ochinero said.

The whole situation is a bad joke IMO, not a good one. A guy decided to pump that thing and thousands of investors started buying. It's a bubble, everyone says that, so dogecoin? Dangerously bad meme.

Besides Dogecoin Core (that also doesn't work pruned), the developers have posted only one open-source non-custodial wallet which is multidoge. The whole thing stinks.

Why not the doge team themselves develop this type of wallet for their coin? By now, they have more than enough money to fund this project, and maybe strike while the iron is hot. Hopefully, they are cooking something beyond this hullabaloo and not relying entirely on Elon's tweets.
