You already answered it , doge hype is over , now the coin is on it's own.
It's no longer the new one around the block , the traders have switched to other coins and pumpers and dumpers also.

Right now doge has joined quark , mastercoin and the others which were once in the spotlight and are there no more.

But , even with the price going down , the coin is as alive as always.

It want go to zero, besides if a coin like Panda, Corgie...... is worth less than 1 Satoshi its still trade-able on the Litecoin market for some liteoshis or whatever you want to call it.

Lol, most shibes are too concerned about short term gains. They are just not seeing the potential of the coin and don't have the patience to wait. I don't believe that shibes have been doing most of the dumping, but mainly the outside speculators. Having less of them in our ranks, means that our growth will be more stable and natural in the future, imho. At least until the next round of speculators come in.

Which version do you use?

Update to 1.6 or better to 1.7 as that will be standard code base soon.

If you use anything before 1.6, you may not be able to send/receive coins.

you will find the latest 1.7 release.

Back up your wallet.dat file to a USB stick before you do the upgrade.

No, but you may encounter many problems if you use a too old version; we now are at 1.7
There's no harm in updating.
