what is happening to doge
such dumping price...
someone must do something about doge im losing my hope in doge shibes
it going back to 30

A dogecoin used to be worth 20 sats. If the price fluctuations stresses you, perhaps you should not invest in cryptocurrencies.

Start spending/trading those Dogecoin folks! If ALL you ever do is HOLD them, how is that helping the community? Need to SPREAD them around! Spending and trading Dogecoin for goods/services will do wonders!

Now, where to spend MY Dogecoin??? Any reliable merchants not price gouging???

doge is only starting, once the distribution is over this year, the price will stabilise and then it will be "fully usable", if you want and can buy something using doge, sure, do it, you might even get a good deal, if you rebuy doge in the right time Cheesy
All those prices and values are in our heads, what we need the most right now, is everyone recognising doge as a mean of transfering value.
Please dont rush things like in a 7 day PoW distribution scam coin.
Voting is good now, shows the community strength, be sure to share, if you find a place where we can show it.

I'm a bit out of touch. A month or two ago someone said almost half the doges ever to be produced had been mined already. How many will be mined in the next six months?

50% were mined in the first 50 days (1 billion per day)  They redid when DOGE would hit the cap (obviously cause there is no cap.) Check the OP.

80% of the 100 billion doges have already been mined. After that, the block reward will drop to 10000 (from today's 125000), for a yearly 5 Billion doges inflation (which is, it's important to remember, lower than Bitcoins inflation for 2015).

Today I learned that Dogecoin has 165000 followers on Twitter, compared to 53000 followers for Bitcoin.

Doge is finding its value level now. Value buying going on, weak hands shaking off, strong hands buying. Bright Doge future ahead.

It's refreshing indeed to see a green candle. Buying at 50sat would have been cool, but I can live without this Smiley

Why is it that all those who bash Dogecoin are vocal supporters of some small altcoin with no foreseable future?

I still expect to see 1 doge at $0.01. Nothing changed about it. Bitcoin is too expensive for micro and small transactions. If people expect Bitcoin to be valued at $100 bln. market cap ($5k-10k range per 1 bitcoin), then there is certainly room for $1 bln. marketcap for Doge in the next 1-2 years.

Well said Smiley
Also, it's still imho the only true alternative to Bitcoin. Sure, other coins have other fancy technologies, but Dogecoin is the only one that harbours a community which has different goals and different values; making it the best coin to invest in for anyone with a social conscience.

Yes you are wrong. You think the coin is all about mining.
No , it is not!

Mining is such a little thing that does nothing to the price of the coin.

Check the hash rate and the price of bitcoin and you'll get your example.
And nobody is making plans to change the reward block in bitcoin or anything like that to please miners.
Actually nobody gives a damn about miners except for themselves.

Correct you in what? Summer will be slow for all cryptos. Strong hands that see value accumulate them at low prices. Weak hands and miners who need to cover costs sell. It's that easy.

I do, and I don't use multipoools. I don't think this coin is going anywhere. Whoever up above us said it best, that we're shaking off the 'dead fruit' as it would be and keeping those who are serious. Block halving doesn't make a difference unless you're concerned about profitability instead of stability. Sure the doge price went down, just like BTC did, but look at it now. (I will keep in mind that they have (a) a 'foundation' and some form of leadership and (b) have teams dedicated to PR and Dev.)

Don't worry about "now," worry about next year. If you stare at your feet you'll never get to where you're going.
