With these recent ICO’s going wild you see criminal folks recreating the ICO web site under a different domain and then doing a Denial of Service attack on the official ICO site with the hope it goes down and people send their payment to the rogue site.. This happened this week on an ICO i invested in.. No I didn’t fall for it but some people did.. People if you are buying something be sure you are purchasing it from the correct place FYI..

thanks for the information you share, there are many ways to save and keep our bitcoins from theft. another way to compensate me is to put or spread your bitcoin in some hardware wallets, if your wallet is stolen there is another wallet. stay alert.

Security polices regarding bitcoin is yet to be made by United Nation and government of the countries where bitcoin is used. The founder of bitcoin had also made good secuirty for securing bitcoin from hackers. Now it also depends upon you which connection you are using for bitcoin.

I do not recommend using an online wallet. You need to have a private key, online wallets do not give you a private key. For this reason, you can not take advantage of some opportunities.

It is best for you to get a hardware wallet because you will be worrying less than before because if you have a lot of asset just like for example, you got ethereum and you got other types of token under ethereum blockchain then it will be hard for you to just trust the online wallets and to just depend on keeping your private keys, it is best for you to keep your assets on an offline wallet.

Well that's good, there's many newbie in forum that they need to know that, they can get an information about the safest wallet.
Hardware wallet , Trezor and Coinbase is the most trusted wallet that I currently use for my bitcoin.
Actually, there many things that they need to know so that they can really protect their bitcoin from hackers. The best way to keep your bitcoin from hackers is simply put it in a wallet like hardware wallet so that you can sure it is safe and secure. Just use trusted wallet like blockchain, trezor and coinbase when you storing your bitcoin.

If you have no funds to buy hardware wallet, just use isolated OS without connection and two wallets (cold/hot) like in this manual for electrum

I think there is no way without keeping your bitcoin wallet log in information in your own responsibility. Every hacker is updated about all the latest new technology. Though hackers try their best for the hack we can take some step for secure our bitcoin wallet as well as our bitcoin money.

Please always use incognito mode for search or login
Every time you need to log out from e-mail (google or yahoo or any ) when you are not active.
Change your bitcoin password every 30 to 50 days & must try for the more hard password.

I use an online wallet to keep all Bitcoins safe.many users are increasingly cautious with fraudulent investments and such.
so keep your password and private key safe and keep it in a place where no one can reach them.

I think instead of online wallets these secrets are a lot safer although this process is a long way off of signing up and be able to buy and sell your Bitcoins, but it's worth it for extra security.

Everything is not secure because hackers are geniuses who steal data, they can take all your information if they stored on the internet. Large exchanges often attacked, and this becomes more and more common, which is a bad thing about security.

To be safe, nobody should keep their bitcoin in any online wallet, I would download Electrum wallet, and store my bitcoin there instead of any online or exchange. so far this wallet been very safe and secure.

I prefer hardware wallets because it's safe from those hackers to find your address online and they cannot access it without the drive that is in your hand. Keep in mind that the safety of our Bitcoin comes from our will to keep awayfrom negligence of our accounts.

Thanks for your information on safe keeping of  wallet info. The truth remains your private key must be safe and can not be guessed. No matter the wallet you are using once your private key is compromised you have lost it all to the hacker so the key is safe keep your private key where only you can have access to it whenever the needs arises.

I do not already have bitcoin, I sold it recently, but due to what I thought I should hodl, I thought out a strategy in which the mandatory item is a cold wallet on the computer that is not connected to the network.
