Why people want ETH to over come BTC

Why some people want the Ethereum to over come Bitcoin in the near future? Is it because they make profit from ETH or what?

It's one of the best reasons. Or another one is to make those altcoins that are on the ethereum network to receive the mooning effect that it would make when ethereum becomes number one. But we know that BTC has much more bigger supporters so it would not happen.

their are so many reasons why ethereum is better than bitcoin.
First, Ethereum Transaction fee lower than bitcoin, and also more faster than bitcoin. Second, ethereum have better technology than bitcoin. One of that function is smart contract. And i think there still many reason that we can describe why Ethereum is better.
