Altcoins get pumped because they want the price of the Altcoins and Bitcoin to go up in price. There is not that much coins that can stay up with Bitcoin. Invest wisely.

We are going through an uncertain period that's for sure. This week hasn't been very kind to the markets as big cap coins and Bitcoin has suffered. Only coins like bytcoin that went on to Binance and bitcoin cash have done well this week, among other few coins and tokens but over all my holdings are dwindling again lol. If Bitcoin breaks support of 9k, we are gonna nose dive a bit. i just hope there is enough support at the 9k usd level for us to stay sideways for a bit.

you may be right but the creator of this thread is also correct.
if bitcoin price goes down most of the token (alts) will go down in terms of dollar value.
they are moslty connected with bitcoin in the market that is why.

It looks like the bitcoin price will be stable around $9k rate, As you can see in 3 days chart and then it looks like jump and back again to the bottom. Remember when bitcoin was $8k rate and this chart has already happened. I just expected bitcoin worth more than 10k in the next month. $1k every month for bitcoin looks possible i suppose.

if in my opinion just the opposite. When the bitcoin price falls, it will increase altcoin. This is a pattern, which when bitcoin falls and altcoin rises. many will sell altcoin to buy bitcoin. And when bitcoin rises, then altcoin will go down.

It doesn't look good because that is how a cryptocurrency works, being volatile. Last week the market performs well as it reaches up to $10k for bitcoin and it also increase the prices of the other altcoins. But still, corrections doesn't last long and let us just patiently wait again for the market to look green.

I prefer to look at the fundamentals of each project and not speculate. Crypto market is very volatile but you also need to understand that BTC dominance is getting lower. Despite that, there are events that may momentarily bring the whole market down. But also up. I prefer to stick to fundamentals, as said, and not worry about that.

It is important to read about the actual fundamentals of a project before investing, not just because it has a cool name or something. It's crazy the amount of people i've spoken to who have invested in cyrtocurrencies without reading whitepapers etc...

Remove yourself from the thought that other coins (alts) always depend on Bitcoin. Know that individual coin is independent and can sustain a standalone value. If a certain coin fluctuates, it means that the coin users or holders are starting to move their assets by trading it to other values. Some activities also cause chabges to the value of coins for example is liquidity pool in which released coins are invested to the ICO management which results to decrement in coin supply and may cause increment in coin price.

Some of them and some of them don't because not all of the coins or ICOs are bitcoin-based, most of them are basing in the platform of ethereum. But I don't think bitcoin will fall down again because it already experience a big dip or downfall this past few months.
