Miners won't buy on today's BTC value based on fiat.  They take a risk knowing BTC will shoot crazy late next year.  So your calculation are based on today's BTC which we all know if very very poor.  It took me a while to realise why people still buy mining hardware even though ROI may is a risk, and its as simple as knowing BTC is yet to grow.

It's even worse... by the time we get the miners the difficulty will rise twice so the initial profit per month would probably be around $1000 by today's bitcoin value.
On the other hand, if bitcoin returns to $900+ then MAYBE we'll see the ROI or even a small profit...

I suppose its what you believe.  I'm a true believer and I feel its yet to explode.  That's my gut.  At this stage, ALL miners are a risk if you calculate yet people can't get enough.  KNC $12,995 machines are still wanted for delivery Q3 2014

People buy the KNC miners for £12,995 because they are 3TH/s miners and they believe that if they do get them in Q1/Q2 2014 they will still be profitable.

Your miners (the 200GH/s ones) cost approx. $4200 (after adding VAT) and will be delivered in January - so that's 1/3 of the price of the KNC miner and 15 times less powerful, but received 2-3 months earlier... is it worth it ? I suppose it's what you believe in...

My advice, should have done it the other way around, got VAT registered ASAP, it doesn't cost you anything to be VAT registered and do everything on the up and up.

There is no Import duty on computer equipment coming into the UK, only VAT.

So you buy at whatever wholesale discount you negotiate, you pay the VAT, which you claim back anyway.
Then you sell at the RRP +VAT and your cut is the difference between the wholesale price and the retail price. Then you give the VAT you charge to the tax man.

Punters will be fine about it, they have to pay VAT anyway on imported stuff. Even KnC charged VAT on all their miners for EU sales.

In the EU there is no getting out of paying VAT, eventually.

I'm trying my best.  If bugs appear at the last minute, I can only fix them and that takes time.  I'm certain things will crop up and cause issues but one thing I do not intend is pissing my customers off on purpose. This is a new business venture and if you have no trust in what I'm trying to achieve then please don't order from us.   Thank you for finding that funny.
