Shocking behaviour from Kenshin here. Mining for a few weeks happily, modding the boxes, changing firmware and making false speed claims, hiding his tracks then claiming for a refund.
I would advise all retailers to avoid like the plague.

All you have do if things started getting sour is PM a admin or mod everything is actually still there, just makes yourself a even more of a fool for trying cover your tracks tut tut tut!
If you are happy to have got scam by NIneLIves, then fine. I am the right for my refund. I have been looking through this discussion and noticed a lot of your post's have been removed (I can supply you the complete pages without alterations if needed) which state what you have done to the unit(s) to void the warranty, if you do not have it in writing from the supplier that it is fine for you to alter the product then you may have a problem. Taking you other post about the car, if you bought a car which stated it could do 54 mile to the gallon and your only getting 50 do you take it back? NO, because the figures they quote are an average. You then alter the engine to try to get the 54 stated but the car will not work, does the car dealer take the car back even though you have messed with the engine and made it common knowledge you have messed with the engine. NO. I suggest you either :- 1. Talk to Ninelives and see what they are able to do for you (if anything) 2. Stop crying about it and get on with your life. I can delete post if I like, this is a free country. Is there a rule on this forum, which tell you that you are not allow to delete posts? No but IF you have seen a solicitor (like you have stated) they will need to know the full facts and the same goes for any other organization you want to drag in to this !! I have seen my lawyer and they have seen the full facts.

Kenshin reminds me of my cousin, I once GAVE him a graphics card for FREE, he decided it wasn't good enough, so flashed a new firmware, overclocked it and fried it. Then came back demanding a new one because the one I gave him wasn't good enough.
NineLives has the patience of a saint, I'd have told Kenshin to do one, I doubt his lawyer threats are anything more than hot air, anybody dealing with legal action goes about it like a regular civilized human being, not spouting nonsense and trying to clean up their admissions on a forum.
Careful he will probably accuse you of been NineLives lover, or NineLives on another account, If I could see holes in Kenshin evidence then a qualified solicitor will rip him it to bits, and since he has removed a lot of his posts stating what he has done then he has just shot himself in the foot. (Oooh look back to page 24 again) I never threaten of using the lawyer. I am telling him, 1) I am going to write a formal email to him, and ask for a refund. 2) If he refused I will contact the Trading Standards and also the ASA about his business. In cases of reported criminal behaviour, for example, scams, unsafe goods and rogue traders. I might even contact the police. Which the items which I ordered is consider unsafe, and also I think he is running a scams as well as a rogue trader. 3) I will try to arrange a mediation with him, to arrange a full refund. 4) If he still refused, I will take him to the civil court. Which is the normal path to deal with rogue traders. And yes I will call my lawyer to see him in the civil court. Please note: I will only go to my lawyer and take him to court, if all 3 steps have fail. By the time it get to the 4th step, the court is on my favour. As I have tried all possible ways to deal with him and ask for a refund.

Do not trust the Internet. He can check all my miners, they have not been tamper with. Do not trust the Internet. Have I really made a firmware? Do not trust the Internet........ I also said I am a Professional Porn Star in another thread. But what is real is that I sent a formal email to ask for a refund. And I have contacted my lawyers, and they have seen the case. I was in their office because I am suing one of the biggest company which have over 300 office location around the world. And I just told them about MiningHardware, they looked at the case. And said they will also do this one if I want them to.

Also the most important things all of you have forgotten. I, Kenshin never purchase any miners from MiningHardware.co.uk on this forum. Someone else with a real name, a real person, with a real address, had purchased 2 miners from mininghardware.co.uk. NineLives is not called NineLives in the real world, he is only this person on this forum. Everything that have been written here are the work of Kenshin.

NineLives,
I am going to advice the person who purchased the 2 miners from to go to the police (I am not the person who purchase the miners from you, I have chase the order for that person's behalf. That person don't use this forum) . Because you refused to refund the items which doesn't fit the description of your website. And you have sold 2 unsafe goods to the person who purchased this from you. They are really loud and can damage people's ear drums. Also one of your miner you sent can't hash at all. And the first one can't hash anywhere near 200GH.
So I guess you have a early night. Because the Police will come to see you in your office tomorrow. I will also advice the person who purchase the miners from you, to contact Coindesk.com since we know one of the main reporter in their team. They will do an article about MiningHardware.co.uk and warn others not to trade with a rough trader and scammer like you.

You refused to refund even when the miner haven't been tamper, opened, or modified. Also I am going to tell the purchase who purchase from you, to contact the HM Revenue & Customs. Because your company have been providing fake description of the miner. They are not broken second hand pc, like what you claim them to be.

You know in a few days time, you would look back and think. Why didn't I just refund the miners? Look at me now, I am in trouble with the Police, the HM Revenue & Customs, ASA and the Trading Standard Institue.
And you think, I shouldn't be scamming people like you already have.

The UK Law. I am not making anything up. https://www.gov.uk/accepting-returns-and-giving-refundsAccepting returns and giving refunds: the law
You must offer a full refund if an item’s faulty, not as described or doesn’t do what it’s supposed to.
Check when you have to offer refunds and accept returns. When you don’t have to offer a refund
You don’t have to refund a customer if they:
knew an item was faulty when they bought it damaged an item by trying to repair it themselves or getting someone else to do it (though they may still have the right to a repair, replacement or partial refund) no longer want the item (eg because it’s the wrong size or colour) unless they bought it without seeing it
You have to offer a refund for certain items only if they’re faulty, eg:
personalised items and custom-made items, eg curtains perishable items, eg frozen food or flowers newspapers and magazines CDs, DVDS and computer software they’ve unwrapped
Customers have exactly the same rights on refunds when they buy items in a sale as when they buy them at full price. Online, mail and phone order sales
Online, mail and telephone order customers have the right to cancel for a limited time even if the goods are not faulty. Sales of this kind are known as ‘distance selling’.
You must offer a refund to customers who buy through distance selling if they cancel goods within 7 calendar days of receiving them.
You must then refund the customer within 30 days. They don’t have to provide a reason for cancelling. Repairs and replacements
If a customer has ‘accepted’ an item, but later discovers a fault, you may have to repair or replace it. The customer can still reject the item after it’s been repaired or replaced.
A customer has accepted an item if they’ve:
told you they’ve accepted it (having had enough opportunity to inspect the item before confirming they’ve received it) altered the item
You’ll have to agree to a repair or replacement if a customer returns an item within 6 months - unless you can prove it wasn’t faulty when they bought it.
Businesses may require customers to prove the item was faulty when they bought it if they ask for a repair or replacement after 6 months of purchase.
Customers have up to 6 years to make a claim for an item they’ve bought from you (5 years in Scotland). Warranties and guarantees
If a customer has a warranty or guarantee, this doesn’t affect their right to free repairs or a replacement.
This means if a customer’s guarantee or warranty has run out, you may still have to repair or replace the item. Proof of purchase
You can ask the customer for proof that they bought the item from you. This could be a sales receipt or other evidence such as a bank statement or packaging. Items returned by someone other than the buyer
You only have to accept returns from the person who bought the item. Penalties for displaying notices
It’s illegal to display any notice that deliberately misleads consumers or deceives them about their rights - for example, a sign that says you don’t accept returns or offer refunds.
Download information from the OFT and Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) on how consumers are protected from unfair trading practices.

He is not refunding the items, even though they are not sold as described. And doesn't fit the purpose. Also they are a dangerous good, which doesn't meet the health and safety regulation. He is not even going exchange or anything. He own me over BTC 10. And he is saying fuck you, I am not paying you.
And all of you, are on his side. What is going on?
