The value is absurd at the moment.

Is more expensive to mine it than what people pay for coin.

So I will just keep what I get and put it in the market at a price I beleve is fair.  No point in selling at current prices.

I wake up and read my mail with a cup of coffee and see that we are listed.

This is great news for Xivra but I do hope to get Xivra also on atleast 2 more other exchanges including a Chinese one. E-mails have been send .

Thanks all for the support and lets continue improving Xivra in all ways we can.

btw: it looks undervalued imho...

Agreed. When I saw first saw that it had gotten listed, there was a buy order set at 0.00000213 BTC. I was able to get my sell order in before that order got completely filled and sold 17k for a bit over 0.03 BTC. The next buy order on the list after that one was set at something like 28 satoshi. I think people are trying to intentionally devalue the coin for some reason.

213 satoshis is something like a reasonable price to mel....

I completely agree. And for the price to stabilize there, people need to put in their buy/sell orders at around that level. Not at 20-30 satoshi. By trying to do quick sells/buys at current bid price, people are devaluing the coin, which is a bad thing for everybody. If sellers would just be patient and place their sell orders a bit higher, the price would go up.

I'm offering a 5000 XIV bounty to the first person to create a legitimate online store where XIV can be exchanged for goods and/or services.

I am also offering a 1000 XIV bounty to the first person to create a gambling site for the coin.

http://xiv.cipherpool.com is a scam.

I mined there for awhile and left the coins there for the last week or so, now my account doesn't exist.

Avoid this pool if you value your coins.

Same here, won't let me log on.

If I type the wrong password it tells me that login info was invalid but when I type the right one it doesn't let me log on.

Nothing happens basically. Owner is a scammer.

Come mine at http://xiv.livechains.net. You won't get scammed there. And you'll get a bigger piece of the proverbial pie.

Okay... so... I just sent requests to both coinwarz.com and coinmarketcap.com asking them to list XIV on their sites. Hopefully we can get some more publicity for the coin from that.

Same problem here, can't log in. Been about a week since I tried, wanted to check if I had any coin laying around.

Had problems with the Chinese pool as well-- tried it for shits and giggles last week-- they owe me about 400XIV.

Livechains has been great so far. They just need more hashpower.

I'm one of the admins on the livechains pool. YES... WE NEED MORE HASHING POWER! Although, there is one upside to being a smaller pool. Miners receive a bigger cut from each block reward. And being PROP, not PPLNS helps too.

As a side-note... For the next 10 miners to sign up at http://xiv.livechains.net I will give 0% pool fees as a special thanks for adding their hashrate to the pool.

EDIT: Confirmations needed for payout has now been reduced to 300 for quicker payouts

Updated, although most people who mine are now on pool.xivra.com , it is in the best interest of Xivra that no pool has more then 30-35 % of the hashing power so I am certainly not offended if people would choose a different pool then pool.xivra.com .

I also realize that it looks silent regarding Xivra but it is certainly not.

Many things are being developed and worked on ; multiple exchanges , gaming portal, comparison site, an extensive chain explorer, webhost where you can pay with xivra only, etc etc

Also we have put our Xivra here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=397540.0 which makes it easier for any merchant to accept Xivra.

Also today we will start with our giveaway thread ( in about 6-7 hours ) from writing this post .

let us know if you got ideas for promotions, new things, designs, improvements, whatever
