7 REASONS WHY: which one are you?

Most of the time people wanted to use cryptocurrency because it was an investment including me, they will make money from it overtime and lot of people are brought to crypto because of that reason. I also use crypto because here in our country it is convinient to use it as a tool to pay your bills and top up your phone I just hope that many services like this will continue to appear in the near future because it is very convinient

I'd like to say that I'm techy that's why i would rather use crypto currency than fiat. But alas i know I'm a show off. I usually scoff at people who doesn't know the existence of crypto currency much less how to transact with it.

Well that is bad. Mostly in countries all over the world, bitcoins are banned and no one even knows about it. That is why bitcoins can’t reach that corners of the world. But in countries where there is some know how of bitcoins and you are scolding and scoffing people just because they don’t know about bitcoins, this is shameful. You need to tell them with love and affection.

I'll pick 1 only because I use many times a incognito for my hiding or anonymously transactions I made and no one can trace my identity I think its more secured for me because I'm not more like programmer that knows everything in digital.

This is right at all. Although people are selecting one option and some other persons chooses two options and he thinks that this is better. Everyone has different mindset and goals to achieve. Likewise I have got something else. I believe that a person must keep all these points and many others who aren’t listed here, must be considered while taking a decision. This is so crucial time so handled with care.

I just noticed some questions about this topic so I listed some seven reasons why people want to have a cryptocurrency transaction rather than fiat.

2. CONVINIENCE. people nowadays are so lazy that they want to have transaction while seated comfortably on their home. With just one click , crypto can be transferred as payment to whatever they want. Well, who doesnt want that anyway.

That's the main reason why I use bitcoin.
Not a long time ago I needed to buy some stuff in China at 4 am in the morning. The transaction was ready in a couple of minutes despite the timezone and all other borders and soon after I successfully got my order.
What I mean is that if I wanted to use some other payment method (like PayPal or Webmoney or even the credit card) they could easily delay my transaction and leave me in the dark for several days (you know that stuff when banks check your account for money laundering or whatever). So in some cases BTC is even more convenient than all other traditional money.

7. SHOW OFF. whether we admit it or not, some people use cryptocurrency just to make their status up. Telling their friends about how wealthy they are and keep boasting for their ego.

Ha-ha, I've never thought about that kind of reason that could attract people to cryptos 
Still, there is some particle of truth in this statement and there are really geeks who make a parade of their 80 level of technological advance

1. INCOGNITO. this is the main reason why people use it. You cannot trace crypto transaction and its perfect from hiding.

2. CONVINIENCE. people nowadays are so lazy that they want to have transaction while seated comfortably on their home. With just one click , crypto can be transferred as payment to whatever they want. Well, who doesnt want that anyway.

3. TREND. basically, people want to try something new, something not ordinary , something innovative and if it was used by all their friends, they want to use it also.

4. ILLEGAL. yes, i dont want to include this but i saw many topics about this also. If you want to buy on black market or an illegal item, your transaction should not be traced as i said on our first reason so Crypto will help you hide on cops but not forever.

5. MODE OF PAYMENT. this is where some people buy an item usually using the profit they had on investing bitcoin even just holding. Ex. If you have 1btc and after a month it becomes 1.5 btc and you want to buy an item that cost 0.005btc and crypto is accepted as a mode of payment, you will use it ofcourse rather than fiat.

6. TECHY. it seems that techy people using cryptocurrency as a mode of payment see themselves as going with the flow of technology considering that bitcoin is the new technology of currency for the new generation.

Most of the people are using cryptocurrency as a mode of payment because the price in the market is keep on increasing as the time goes by so we can expect for us to have a cheaper prices if we are going to use bitcoins.

I guess you could say that I am number 5 but I don't truly identify with any of those. I am along for the developing of this technology and the betterment of society and man. What comes and goes with it I could care less about. As long as people have access to financial institutions, can control their own money, and can't have their money devalued at a moment's notice, that will be enough of a change for me.

Nice post. I'm probably more of a "convenience" person because i love how crypto has already disrupted the payment gateway industry. Gone are the days where paypal had monopoly over online transactions and awful horrible chargebacks.

I'm glad that crypto is here and i do believe it will continue to stay and change the world.

I do not use crypto currency for transactions but I use it for trading and investment where crypto currency has an ever-increasing value and investment in crypto will be very profitable, that's what attracted me to the currency crypto

Your list is pretty good but I think you missed out some of the very important points. Cryptocurrencies helps in eliminating fraud. Unlike the credit card charge-backs, cryptocurrencies are digital and thus cannot be arbitrarily reversed by the sender or counterfeited.  In addition to it, cryptocurrencies have faster settlement and lower fees as it eliminates the intermediaries from the transactions.

This is so true, a lot of my friend always show off their earnings from the bounties or trading profits. But I always say to them that, those earning still an estimation. The real value is when the earning have been converted to FIAT currencies.

I guess I am more on 2,5,6 kind a like, using bitcoin or cryptocurrency as mode of payment, to try something new and easy to use or convenient specially when we have so many things to do and we're running out of time...but these are all listing of something you're identified with but the rest it's still up to us.

Number 1, incognito. This is the main reason I join cryptocurrency. I want my wealth to be hidden in government or to anyone. I'm not boastful not the showy type.

Bitcoin is quite a good way to show off indeed😂😂 whenever I mention Bitcoin to people they just look at me like I’m a genius or something lol. And they kinda get interested, though at last it still ends up with the “Bitcoin is scam and fake” lol. Definitely I'm into cognito because this is what I like about crypto currency as it can't be trace and this is what all we need. However, because of all rules now about investment, pseudonym is now fading as we all require to pass the kyc and this can really affect the essence of cryptocurrency. I also have this reason that makes it a mode of payment of which is hard to believe in the first time because we are always depends on fiat on where working without internet but bitcoin makes it improve by using technology it makes every transaction fast and secure between each other in all different places. I also study it and knew that we also have a chance to earn a profit just by holding bitcoin on which encourages me to continuing using it.
