The main purpose is KYC is definitely had to prevent fraud and also protect the company
You don't to run a business/company where you had no data of people/investor that is in your company because that posses problems like if your investors had black market money, you would have run into problem too

Actually it is useless if you have to do KYC when you just want to join bounties/airdrops because your personal data will be sacrificed too. If you don't have a problem about that, it's okay.

At present, most ICO projects or gifts require us to be KYC as a legitimate condition, many are unhappy with the KYC system because there are many bad things that might be unwanted such as for crime. sometimes KYC is not always convincing and not in accordance with agreements or fraud, we work without compensation. I personally only hope in the coming year to make a new project better.

Some of ICO projects need KYC for bounty also for knowing their participants who bought Token or Coins on their project.

usually have to complete documents such as an identity card or visa and can also drive cards to reduce fraud if they occur and can also get free coins

Indeed, there are now many projects that require PCs to complete personal data such as ID cards, sims or other supporting data, which are needed solely for the safety of the participants, as long as they are not complicated, I think we really need them.

I think kyc is good in the part of the government only, and i think it is not necessary applicable on bounty campaigns and airdrop campaigns since their identity might be stolen.

We all know that kyc or ''know your customer'' is applied by a transactioner his identity that he can use so that he can be trusted and his transaction would be legit.

The project that applies cooperation with the KYC system, in my opinion, is not bad. However, it would be better if the project has a high value in the long term. So that the efforts in managing KYC with the results to be received from ICO are comparable and provide quite good benefits. If the acquisition value is lower, it is better to join the other ICO.

So far, I have participated in several Bounty projects and there are projects that use KYC. And in my opinion, it's very good because it also gives me pretty good results. And when you join a Bounty project that uses KYC you should be careful and do research.

It seems that everyone is uncomfortable when a project requires passing KYC before joining or receiving rewards. This is more uncomfortable when KYC is pending 1-2 days or even a week. But this can prevent people who use multiple accounts to get more than the specified amount of rewards.

However, I still don't like projects that require KYC. Sad

Actually KYC is an advantage for the part of the developer because they know what kind of investor and bounty hunters they are dealing with. They will know if the hunter is cheating on the campaign by joining multiple accounts but on the other side, its a little bit risky on the investors and hunters because you are giving away informations about yourself.

This check allows us to be confident that our money will be safe and secure and fraudsters will not be able to participate in bounty campaigns from many accounts.

To get a prize, you must be able to pass KYC and this is now used for Bounty and Airdrop. I think this use of KYC must be careful because we send personal data to other people, which of course we don't know.

Yes, KYC is good, it gives more knowledge like me, who is not really or not good in computer. KYC also is for the security reason so that are account are being protected. It also secure that you should have multiple accounts.
KYC verification does not guarantee anything. If the project is fraudulent, besides the investors' money, the fraudsters still have the opportunity to sell the identification data of those who flipped them to these scammers. Then do not be surprised if you continue to have problems with the police.
Personally, I try not to join those ICO projects that require you to undergo a KYC test.

I've never joined a bounty or airdrop that uses KYC so I don't know what will happen if we provide data to people we don't know, because I avoid bounties as much as possible which requires participants to do KYC

They just want to figure out if the participants are legit and not using many accounts. It is their way (I am against it) to determine their customers and bounty hunters are not customers why would they do that? It isn't even needed. But I guess KYC of bounty hunters might be used for some dark reason.

Most of the time, legit bounties need kyc to make sure that the participants not doing illegal thing and make them transparent in their identity. Some bounties already experience of abusing their project and that why they want a participant pass KYC. Another thing, it be also dengerous because kyc is revailling your personality and it can be used to scammed people so lets make sure also the bounties what we participated.

There are a bunch of platform that asked KYC to the investors and they have become another scam or fraudulent platform, So far KYC is to prevent the ico creator from the regulation and they are only who has been getting the benefit from KYC requirements. Investors get nothing from there.

I've given KYC form to many places but I didn't have a problem. This is not to say 'KYC is reliable'.
You shouldn't fill out this form at all times and do detailed research beforehand.
