The exchange looks amazing, but before I start pointing my miners at your network and mine like crazy....

The block explorer shows there's been pre-mining going on since at least August? Are you planning on a clean slate of this pre-launch.  I see you specifically say the coins are pre-mined (you actually only mention the federation coin is pre-mined, but it looks like they all are), but 4 months of pre-mining seems like a lot to be given out for bounties and rewards.  

I'm not making accusations, I just want some clarifications (as I'm sure many others who look at the blocks will).

The coins were launched 4 months ago. GPL and UFC have been up and running since then, still running now.

What we are doing is re-launching KED because KED block was stuck about 2 months ago! We are now pre-mining 285k to replace the ones who were holding the old coins. There is a public ledger of old addresses who are entitled for exchange. Its posted here: http://www.scificryptocoin.org/index.php/general-information/ked/darsek-redeem-spreadsheet
Feel free to compute the total coin using a spreadsheet, you'd see it's just a tiny bit shy of 285k.

Getting everything into place and the chain started. I had to do some last minute cosmetic changes when I realized how different QT in Windows handles colors vs. QT in Linux.

Some of the Windows dialogues can be hard to read, but the most common ones people use are OK. I will get an update out in a few days to improve the color palette.

Github is working now..it turns out I left the daemon executable in the source and it took a bit.

I have since removed the binary.

I will get an e-mail out soon, I need to get past the launch and get the explorer up.

I am looking into it now. I can reproduce the error, however it seems to be coming from left field so to speak.

I can grab getwork, getworkex and getblocktemplate fine from the Windows client, which is all your miner is really doing at the point the client crashes.

I am giving this top priority, more news when I have it.

As for not being being able restart after this crash, this is due to threads not being shut down when Windows errors out, simply restart Windows and you will be able to start the client.

I have seen this before, and I just fixed it!!!

It's because the new client is trying to use your old Darsek chain.

To fix: Start menu -> type "%appdata%" on the search bar, it will open explorer
Rename the "Darsek" directory to "Darsek_old"
Restart the wallet, and be a happy klingon

Some detail to point you in the right direction

That is due to you having the old Darsek directory on your machine. Move your wallet.dat file somewhere so you can send it in for redemption and delete everything out of your Darsek data Directory.

The issue is while Linux sees .darsek and .Darsek as different directories, Windows does not. The client cannot do the assertion because it is reading from the old chain and it does not match what is in its source.

i only get my error when i start to solo mine, and then i have ot do a total restart to get darsek to work again
and it is the only darsek on that computer (its a wiindows 7 terminal)
