Day 1, everyone dumps trying to cash out a bit.
What's next?
Dumping now? At the ridiculous low rates the coins are at right now? I too was looking to sell a few to help cover my costs so far into the Scifi coins, but at these rates I have not put even one coin up for sale.

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

the buy prices suck. people must think the sellers are crackheads to be offering such little satoshis.
We need more volume on the exchange.

I had 2 sales for testing that got nibbled. I did make it quite low, just to test. Now, the long hard work to promote, huh.. Someone pointed out: http://scifi.stackexchange.com Seems a good place to hit. And also other scifi forums. We know the coins are stable and lastin in the hands of Dream

The buy price on KED is improving! Maybe this is just first day phenomenon.

This is how I am pricing KED:
1900khash nets 500KED coins/day. 1900khash should net you about .02 BTC/day when mining the avg scrypt coin.
so KED is worth about 0.00004 BTC per coin.
Nethash is only 25mhash. So price should increase as the network increases.
Trade accordingly.

Very good observation!
We've been able to mine relatively easily with low diff, therefore the price is currently low. It should improve over time.

Since we have an exchange and block explorers, We should try to get these coins listed on coinwarz/coinchoose. This will attract miners and boost the network hash of the coins, which should boost the price of the coins being traded.

Great launch and thanks a bunch for the nice giveaways! What about an API? Guess it's important to make exchange rates 'more public' on other sites, helping developers implementing it in their applications/services etc.

Many people ask for APIs.
There was a multi-pool who wants to implement autotrade with scifi coins. It will increase the hash rates by a lot.
Another thing is that we should probably make a Scifi Coin coalition with the other guys and try to hit Comic Con or something.

lets not add an API for a while, multipools are the death of new coins for normal people. they will come in make the diff go way high, then leave, while the true blue miners are still there mining at a much higher diff. People will like that they have a real chance to mine these coins, and probably will like the thought that they dont have to go up agains TH/s of hash.

I literally said wtf when I saw GPL price. Probably will look back and say the biggest mistake I ever made was not buying everyone in sight. Unfortunately, I am bust right now. So much gear coming I have like .1 btc to my name. If you guys with some are not buying, you're crazy.

Well you guys, DOGE does not have any technical smartness, but they sure hell can market. We should learn a thing of two from them, even if it's just spamming the board. I may be able to do that later, but I'd sponsor someone to do so. Spam bitcointalk.org, reddit, http://scifi.stackexchange.com, cryptocointalk, scifi forums, anywhere you find eyeballs.
