Now coinex is starting to tank. I took a look at some other alt prices that were recently pumped up from new Chinese investors and they are all dropping too on the Chinese exchange.

Chinese will back to market after Chinese new year, but i don't think EAC have a marketing team exist.

I dont really think they have a marketing team either.

The sell off's could be due to BTC sell off going on, people taking profits, people swapping to mooncoin / doge, x5 miner day sellers or a combination of them all.

Hashcows is currently mining eac and the difficulty is only 22. IS noone mining eac anymore except for the multi pools?

I'm sure a couple peeled off to ride the Dogecoin train, but I wouldn't be too concerned about it.  After all, the net hashrate is once again resting where it usually falls when it's not a 2x/5x day and it stays off the #1 slot on Coinwarz.  For now, I don't see it as a concerning factor.

Its number 2 on coinwarz and was #1 before hashcows started mining it and the price dropped.

What gives you the impression that EAC doesn't have a marketing team?  EAC has steadily been increasing it's online presence, surely you haven't run through this thread at all:

People placing their miners on doge since they expect doge to rise in block halving. EAC is a stale market, so its good for instant pump and dump multipools like hashco.ws since there are enough volume on cryptsy. I wonder where are those EAC police maybe they loose faith and mine doge instead. Smiley

All of these market not bring many end users except cryptsy, try to be list on one chinese exchange like Bter,  btc-38, okcoin,or even guogao.com.
I am sure EAC will double in both price and users once hit one of exchanges listed above.

I will help you communicating with Chinese exchanges if you give me an authorization. let me know if i can help!

I have to say I have never seen a pumper buy so much coin over and over again even when the price plummets every time right after. He is very dedicated I will give him that. Look at the last big pump on the cryptsy chart. He bought every single coin in that pump... lol he bought everthing from 195 to 225 and also lost over 12btc in buy walls so far in past 20 minutes.

Though a little disheartening to read, my comments remain true, no love as we dip, temporary high as we climb, and then hate as we normalize Smiley.  THIS IS A LONG TERM PROJECT

No marketing team? Not efficient? Really?

Just in the last two days we've delegated top level tasks, consolidated our socials, consolidated our team/asset builders into internal groups, started overhauling our new site task, are putting together our merchant gateway/coinpayments guides, our press releases hit tons of sites: https://twitter.com/search?q=%22bitcoin%20alternative%20earthcoin%22&src=typd&f=realtime and https://www.google.com/webhp#filter=0&q=%22bitcoin+alternative+earthcoin%22 - More PR is being prepared, no frequency is high enough however please note what IS happening and be realistic. THIS IS A LONG TERM PROJECT

We're in a transition stage where the whole project is being streamlined and there are still daily highlights while we diligently work in the background - some of you are concerned and fear price - that's fine - however your comments about the marketing team are unjust, go be proactive to help instead of constant pressure for us to work faster. THIS IS A LONG TERM PROJECT. You don't have to believe in it, the collective along with time will prove it without fear and without distaste or rushing us.

Reassuring you guys on every dip and taking criticism from people seemingly in a better position to have done a better job than us - you are free to market, promote, or take part in the 101 things happening at earthcointalk.org to help us with the rollout of the next batch of assets, or you can sit here refreshing charts every half hour and continue your distaste, it won't make the price go up or make us work harder Smiley.   THIS IS A LONG TERM PROJECT

Onwards and upwards.

I agree that it is long term project. The problem is the massive pumping going on.  eac price is constantly and blatantly manipulated hardcore and totally controlled by a few people. The price is whatever they want it to be. Investors don't like that and I think these recent artificial high prices give people unrealistic expectations and panic when the price drops back towards its true value when the pumping stops. Because the difference between the true value and the inflated price is so big it seems like a crash. Also the people who bought high during the pump feel like they have been suckered and will have a negative view of eac because of it. I personally think that this super pumper eac has had the last week has done more harm then good for eac.

^ it's a very irrational market, that's just part of the ecosystem. In a few days/weeks the whole market viewpoint/pumpers/dumpers/variables will be different. I doubt we will have 'natural' markets, ever, for more than a short stint - 'unnatural/irrational' is the new 'normal'.

I think we are all impressed with DOGE's marketing, including our team, however please try not to hold us to their or other coins activities or ways of rolling out. We are going into 'extremely sensitive' mode and really want to make sure our assets and streamlined data delivery is perfect from here on out re the new site/brand tweak, and ideas on how else to grow. We've literally created a brand from scratch, everything from the keyword itself, to the shapes/colors/words/packaging of a mission - I actually think the whole community has done an absolutely fascinating job with taking the foundation of the brand and bringing awareness to it and adding value to it in 101 ways, so much so that we can't keep up.

Instead of just copy/pasting and distributing assets and links as they come in, we're now vetting, improving, and maturing as a whole. If we had the luxury of an already established brand and awareness out there that we could piggy back off of and get instant awareness for like a meme or other existing popular public gimmick/phrase/icon/fad/etc, perhaps we could achieve even more faster however I've been building organic brands from scratch for many many years and although this niche is tough/fast/unforgiving/competitive, I feel we're kicking absolute butt as far as long term thinking goes and growing our infrastructure/top level of the brand now before the mega boom we feel is coming in the near future.

Cheers.

Ok holzer. Blame it on the imaginary 'pumper' who has made everything so terrible for you by 'inflating' the value of EarthCoin. Pray tell, O wise Oracle, what is the 'true value' of EarthCoin vs its current 'free market value'? I am truly curious to know how you valuate a cryptocurrency that is one month old, and is such a fluidly developing idea, as well as a store of value. Is there a book somewhere explaining how to valuate a brand new crypto currency? If not maybe you should write one.

Geez I have seen it all. The price rises for a day and now the sheep who sold at the lows moans like a two bit hussy about manipulation because he can't buy back where he sold....

You think that 'one pumper' controls this currency? I personally have bought more EAC over the last few days. I guess I am a terrible pumper as well. I guess I still think EACs value is 'artificially low' compares to the potential of riches that await those who can open their minds and see the light. Buy & Hold. And Buy some more. Long-term. Sell some when we are above $0.01 or on a 500% up day. Quit acting like a clown, this is an infant cryptocurrency, not Microsoft.

You better believe we're trying! However we can't really talk about behind the scenes stuff like this or be here to reassure people that we're always trying to work with these and other exchanges. NOT ONE exchange has listed us 'just because we asked them to' or given us a timeframe or warning. Sorry that's not true - BigVern on my Skype gave me a timeframe of 'soon' < that's as close as we got.

We don't want to false advertise that we're going to be anywhere 'soon' again, it caused a ton of friction, just know we are indeed always trying to communicate with a lot of important elements and people for this project including exchanges. If you have connections (all/any of you) with any of them, and are professional, yes - please approach them on our behalf to lend a hand with awareness and potential listing. We'll probably randomly pop up naturally anyway, as Wes likes to say, and I agree. Our efforts to speed the process up are kinda duds, but we're still trying.
