4% is a bit too high, maybe 1% or 2% at most but 4% that abusing the monopoly position, well probably there will be free pools right after (or not depending if the coin get some attention ) but come on

if I could get everything to compile on CentOS 5.8 I would be more than happy to setup a pool. I'm new to the scene, but I got hardware just sitting idle that could host it.

Personally I feel like the 4% fee is acceptable considering that he's not pre-mining the coin like so many other scamcoin creators tend to do with stuff like this. I'd hate to see everyone jump ship to another pool just because it has a lower fee.

I mean, this is bitcoin and selfish is the way to go typically, but.

task list on switch:

1) *if* we hit a block under phoenixcoins there will be a payout as per normal under PPLNS (i have 50 phoenixcoins in that wallet so we do not wait for the 120 confirms.)

2) site put on maint mode

3) stratum server switched to catcoins

4) shares will then be reset to 0 on everything

5) site taken off maint.

Mining in your pool at 1.2 Mh/s. I hope you switch it to Cat as soon as it launches. And btw what will happen to the Phoenix coins which are being mined currently?
