Cheers will try, never did P2P was worried but heard lots about how they are better than pools and the most efficient way of mining and I have also heard horror stories but will try now, when do I get payouts?

When I started mining, I had always doubts about other pools and how they are managed.
With p2pool I found a decentralized peer2peer pool with automated payout, where the work is automatically shared as the rewards are.

Payout is automated and done after the p2p community found a block that has been confirmed. And as long as your miner was part of that work (by committing shares) you are paid. Also if at that particular moment you already left the node.
