a Lot of people have faith in this coin , that why it is hashing now at 1.3 GHZ

Us miners and pool owner of course can't wait for this coin to hit an exchange we are impatient and want to see this coin moving forward

The developer however kind has a laid back attitude and does a little something every day

Right now the most urgent thing to do in my opinion for the dev, is to include the libwinpthread-1.dll in the Download link for the windows client in the OP, because right now, with the updated client with the CAT logo, it still wont run because you need the DLL

Another thing he should do ASAP is make instructions in the OP about how to make a catcoin.conf file ans supply some node because synchronising is the next problem for a lot of people

These 2 things should be done first in my opinion before any other things and I have Pm'ed the dev about it
In dev we trust!

Why did all miners let cryptovalley.com  Huh Huh Huh Huh

Where did they all go to

cryptovalley.com has switched to PPLNS, meaning all the pool hoppers aren't going to profit from it. They've all probably scuttled off to pool hopping on other non PPLNS pools.

Catpool.in

PPLNS, 0% FEE ... YES!!! realy, 0% FEE! automatic payments & quick confirmations...

  • Our pool have no fees!
  • Our server are located in Germany.
  • We get automated backups of our system.
  • You can get automatic payments if you like to.
  • We are quickly processing your transactions.
  • The pool is stratum powered.

We need everyone miners with any hashes! We need you! Register now!

Thanks!

I am looking to buy catcoin, but I just set up a new wallet and want to test it first. If anyone could send me a miniscule amount just to test it that would help me a lot. Thanks.

DOGE has (spam-)hype, CAT has only few miners

Why not to try use doge spam-hype to rise CATs? If there is DOG, it must be a CAT,
this is logical obvious. I think one appearence in relatively serious(nearby the DOGES) news
will be enough, because we sit here and many peopels, who mine doges don't even know
about catcoins. So we can try to pulling part of DOGE auditories to reach popularity.

Cultural references... it is very good, memecoin can't live for long time. Someone
mention C... Anonimous Transactions or CAT. It's good too.

It will great blast if CAT go to exchange(near the dog) with absolutely insane post prise
like 0.2BTC for 1CAT. If community can chew where is come so price. And if all people
from here make red-bricked faces and demonstrate iron nerves, all today miners can get
fair reward.

And yes i already bought AMD cards and planed to get rig of it at the middle of january Grin.

And i don't say that CAT worth 0.2BTC now. It's only technical price if popularity is equal.

Yes, Bitcoin has great community, but it already strong commertialise (much more money
need to enter, because you become the source of someone's profit).
I remember bitcoin with even no GPU, when "small group of "geeks make
the money of the future"". Succsessfully lost my wallet with 100BTC and don't mention it Sad,
remember about cryptocoins only this summer and, yes, don't by BTC for 70$ instead of car.
parts when want and can spent free 1000$.

LTC? yep have some... but if i was there on start it'll be much better.

The fact this thread has this amount of posts in only a few days shows there is the support out there, it's not too late to hype it up. I mean, when I first started mining DOGE, the difficulty was already 23 when I first heard of it. All it takes is a push in social media. Memes are fine to garner attention, but it should not be the primary focus. If the catcoin logo was a random cat meme, I'd have zero interest. Kinda why I look at "kittehcoin" and go no.

I've made the joke that sooner or later we'll have a Grumpycoin. As much as I love Tarder Sauce, that would have been seen as trying to rip-off doge because meme abuse. Catcoin is a simple name with a cute mascot. Let's keep this kitty well fed!  Cheesy

Doge has hash behind it because multipools are juicing it. Once cat is accepted on exchanges it will go boom in hash power, asuming it is listed before difficulty is too high.

 >Why not to try use doge spam-hype to rise CATs?

Because higher you fly, harder you fall. Everyone's objective should be to make this coin survive. Such zero-sum game would kill it pretty fast.

>It will great blast if CAT go to exchange(near the dog) with absolutely insane post prise
like 0.2BTC for 1CAT.

For that to happen, CAT has to reach 1/5 of BTC mainstrem coverage, investors and most importat purchasing power.

>LTC? yep have some... but if i was there on start it'll be much better.

What about Bytecoins or any of other dead cryptos? Everyone is a general when war is over.

Right now the most urgent thing to do in my opinion for the dev, is to include the libwinpthread-1.dll in the Download link for the windows client in the OP, because right now, with the updated client with the CAT logo, it still wont run because you need the DLL
I was reported that this was fixed with the last release in the OP, is that not 100% true?

Greetings, just installed the client and it doesn't seem to sync at all. I suppose — like with other coins — there might be a conf file config which could help. Didn't go through the whole thread, could anyone please point me out to a way to fix this?
