Yes, Virginia, we have a Catcoind.exe compiled on Windows for Windows.   Grin  It's passing basic tests so I feel very good about the viability of this compile.  Life's good and getting better in CATsylvania. Smiley

The 'dev environment 2.0' is working well so far.

Now, switching gears to start the last step - compiling the wallet.

Andy

thanks for headsup andy!

So I transfered some cats to an exchange but they are not arriving. I assume it has to do with the fork?

rather has to do with the currently high difficulty for the given low hash rate. any CAT transfer can take 12-24 hours.

those mining could help that by pointing extra rigs at CAT Wink

look at catchain.info -> CAT is now at block # 21126...
- diff reset is (before the planned fork) each 36 blocks, the last one was at 21096.

So now waiting for the earliest to happen - either the block 21132 or the fork getting finalized prior to that.
And don't tell the community you are transferring CATs to an exchange to dump them, not a good omen for the seller Wink

Not sure if you guys know what is happening fully right now or not but there is a decent chance this
coin's price will go up pretty soon here. I mean well... up more than the 200% it's gone up already this week
and today.

And if you have a look at this :
http://www.coinwarz.com/cryptocurrency
If the price doubles one more time you will be up in the most profitable coins to mine.
Then no need to change anything at all with the re-target at least.
Pretty good chance that in the very near term the blocks will be flying.

If I were you guys (and I was once in the first couple weeks) I would put worrying about
the re-target time aside for a day or two. Watch what happens to your price over the next
24-48 hours.

I just wanted to tell you :

Standby... watch for a day or two. Something seems to be happening at Cryptsy.

All right everyone - we've broken the code and we can haz Windows CAT wallets and windows catcoin.d.exe headless nodes.

Once we've got final code we can prep the fork.  We're likely to be at least 48 hours away, but it's almost time.

Thanks for your patience, everyone!

Andy

Was watching that, too. He threw himself against a 40btc wall, now it is about ~29BTC. Probably not the best move though... His lack of buy support will cause the price to collapse.

By updating the way the diff flows with hashrate.  It's already been done in most coins as the environment changed - and it's taken some coins up to fork 5 to get there. Wink

as a reaction to your progress with the wallet, Andy, CAT has overtaken LOT for a moment to become the fastest rising coin over the last 24 hours Wink still, a rather steady journey would be preferrable to pump and dump, as we already know...

Mate, if that's all it takes, we'll announce a new wallet every other day.  Change the pictures to cover all the different cat types. Smiley

I can see it now:  Welcome to Siamese Saturday!
