Florida Tax Collector to Accept Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash Payments A Florida county tax collector has partnered with bitcoin payments processor BitPay to accept cryptocurrency for a variety of services. Seminole County Tax Collector Joel Greenberg said in a statement Monday that his office will take bitcoin and bitcoin cash for payments associated with driver licenses and ID cards, automobile tags and titles and property tax. The office decided to accept the cryptocurrencies in an effort to streamline fee collection, reduce the potential for fraud and identity theft and increase the transparency and accuracy of payments. Greenberg's office added that it does not perceive any "price volatility or risk to the County" in accepting the cryptocurrencies. credits: https://www.coindesk.com/florida-tax-collector-accept-bitcoin-bitcoin-cash-payments/maybe the country is receiving both bitcoin so the government also oversees and monitor the development of bitcoin so we will feel safe and comfortable in investing

this shows that bitcoin is being en-grained into the fabric of our society when the tax collector has added bitcoins as a means of tax payment. It means that they would have done their continuity studies to ensure that this is a sustainable , viable method of collecting taxes. This says a lot about bitcoins and its future in society, its obviously on its way to greatness.
Yes you are right for that, but I think this is not for all countries, maybe this kind of thing is only in some countries, because they know that Bitcoin has a very good future and help everyone, so they think for tax collection can also use Bitcoin .

I am very happy to hear this news, it is so good news for us to tex collector accept bitcoin. Now the government is understanding the essence of the bitcoin. It is already proved that bitcoin has the strongest and the safest network. This is the first government agency that will use bitcoin for their crucial activities like payment of salary and collection of the tax. If all goverment accept the bitcoin than it has a very good future and help everyone.

I think this is good news for bitcoin because the government received bitcoin and a few months later all countries also received bitcoin. A Florida county tax collector has partnered with a BitPay bitcoin payment processor to receive cryptocurrency for various services.

I think it shows a positive thing for us as citizens. perhaps the government there has contributed to managing bitcoin. I hope the country where I live can be so. if indeed the government wants to take part in this bitcoin, it's okay we pay taxes too, later all the taxes are also made for the public interest.

If Bitcoin is accepted as payment for taxation in any country it means the country is very close to legalization of bitcoin. This is really a green light.

That sounds good I would have expected BTC to be more used when purchasing things and least expect tax collection to start accepting BTC. If the government is starting to accept this kind of payment, maybe more people will start using it. yes folks, with so will be one cause to rise its btc price, because a good news, If indeed this news is true, then rule also participate in formalizing bitcoin transactions.

This is really good news. Businesses accepting them is good, but government entities accepting has to be considered a move in the right direction. Hopefully it catches on!

I don't know how true this is but if it is, then it is great news as bitcoin slowly becomes part of the financial forces

Ok i have never imagined such a thing to happen but it seems its working good. Anyways if that tax collector does not have any problem then its good but i think with bitcoin should we really have to pay any taxes. i am not pointing my fingers to bitcoin transactions and all i am saying do we have to pay taxes if we buy some groceries from a local shop or buy some medical stuffs from a local medical store?
