Sorry guys -- I had to take the bettercoin.org pools down as I could not afford to pay out of pocket just to keep the pools running.  Confirmed at least 2 pools got hacked and funds were disappearing from them.  I will be identifying the thieves - and will send an e-mail out to everyone with a positive balance, to send their confirmed mined coins.

i thought so as well. check your spam folder, all mail didn't show it for me but spam did. on the other hand, his site says he is working on rebuilding servers right now, so maybe that's why the validation hasn't come yet. just keep checkin his site once in a while throughout the day to see if his maintenance message is gone.

I am getting quite sceptical about this coin to be honest.

Difficulty is such that everyone seems to mine millions and millions and millions of coins every day.
This devalues the coin tremendously because market demand can be satisfied by a few percent of total miners output.

Coin's difficulty should have been increased tenfold by now, instead nothing happened ...wth...?

Did maker of this coin never hear of 'inflation' ?

There is another new exchange which supports Fedoracoin (TIPS). It looks kind of cheap, but thought I let you guys know.

Difficulty rises with the network. We peaked at 2.5GH/s (diff = 35) and came back down to 850MH/s (diff = 11-12).

WE HAVE GOTTEN MORE INTEREST IN THE LOGO CONTEST. THE DEADLINE HAS BEEN EXTENDED.

Do you not understand the concept of DOGE and TIPS with the large block sizes?

Difficulty means nothing there will always be the same amount of coins generated in the same time frame.  Just like all other coins.  The difficulty paces the release of each block, that's what it is designed to do.

You only see large balances by the miners because of the huge block sizes.  Fedoracoins will be worth less than small block coins.  But that's the whole point.
