FYI the address that got payouts for block 1-500 or whatever belongs to multipool (2DkNHNQh38ZyMsMraPMvvkbtSP5rKefVdA). At least my withdrawal from multipool was posted from that address

Maybe everyone knew this already? Haven't read all replies here yet...

Address 2DkNHNQh38ZyMsMraPMvvkbtSP5rKefVdA

Still does not take away the fact that Multipool had the source long before anyone else. It was a dick move.

Tell that to catcoin dev, or to me, who lost a whole night mining CATs in a wrong fork due to different pools starting at the same time.

The only problem has been too many people attempting to get the first coins. Multipool has been connecting and disconnecting during the first 15 minutes or so.

It has been a fair launch, but with a lot of problems coming due the whole hype made before.

If you read the post pre launch, it was done to stop block chain forking, but even so, it didn't go as planned obviously.
so that's multipools wallet? or dev?

I don't get how people can still be complaining about Mooncoin's launch. Catcoin's launch was much worse, with some people losing out on massive amounts of coins due to forking, and it took a day or two to stabilize.

Still does not take away the fact that Multipool had the source long before anyone else. It was a dick move.

The reason it was done this way was clearly outlined here:

http://mooncoin.wordpress.com/2013/12/29/regarding-pools-and-chain-forking/

It was done this way to prevent a forked chain.

None of this was mentioned until now. Just posting the link at rush hour does not constitute proper communication.
Your communication was not optimal.

Now, on to the exchanges with this coin!

nice cleaner wallet, thank god! still a few paws but minor minor details... and I'm all synced and my multipool deposits are in. thanks!

Overall the cluster fuck launch glitches and wallet and such was ironed out under 5 hours... bitch as much as you want but it's a pretty decent timeframe in this day and age

Multipool claims they missed block 50-1081. Are you sure that address got payouts for blocks 1-500?

No, I did say "or whatever", didn't check that many transactions. But you're right so I updated my earlier post;
