And while the price on Cryptsy is getting dizzy, the hashrate of the real pools is stable.

Oh man, stable? You joking, right?

Since Kimoto we have 12 times as many miners, and 8 times the hashing power.

At first we were growing lineary, but now the growth is exponential. Just checked to be sure: 360 MHash in just single pool, a third of what multipools were giving us.

I just sit and laugh now at all those poor bastards selling sooo cheap.
Have a good day Smiley

I totally agree with you man. All I was saying is that today,  even if the price on Cryptsy lose a bit, the hashrate on the main pools remain stable around 250 Mh/s, which is a good sign of the devoted community behind this coin.

Bit hell yeah, since the Kimoto algo jumped in, the hashrate tripled.

Today more than ever: hold, mine and buy !

370 Mhash

wow this is fast now.

can somebody explain to me what it means if the hash rate has trippled, is that good or bad? what are the implications of the hash rates we're getting and what would be the best scenario?

Edit: and hell yeah, great buying opportunity. My tip..

Edit: and hell yeah, great buying opportunity. My tip..

Implications are such, that a lot of people mine, and not only small laptop diggers, but a big time miners.
Network is now secure and stable, community is growing beyond expectations, and so will the price.

After all, many people would like something like doge, but a bit more serious.

Just check the news- everyone is talking about TIPPING !

More miners = more dumpers = price go lower.

The only way to fix this situation is to either reduce the profits from mining via difficulty increase \ block halving or just wait until whales will buy in cheap which is more of a gamble.

There are to main pools mining TiPS: Coin-Pool and NotNull.

If I remember well we were around 80-100 Mh/s before block 51000 and gravity algo.
Now we are at 350 Mh/s on CP and 250 Mh/s on NN.

That's why I said that the hashrate of real pools trippled. It's a good indicator of the size of the community and long-term investors behind a coin, as short-term profits seekers will go on Multipools.
For that I don't really agree with Denmor. More miners means more awareness.

So I'll say we are on the good path Grin

Just my 2 TIPS.

For the thread, keep it to 1 column. It is nice to stand out, but that is something that should be somewhat familiar to make it easy for newcommers to find information.

Secondly. Is that actually the logo now or whats happening? If it is someone should make a couple wide banners like we had with the other logos, to be places at top and bottom of post.

Thirdly, can someone please tell me why everyone wants the coin to be so dark. There is nothing about the colouring of the logo that is appealing. The design is fine but honestly guys  its dark, it doesn't make you feel anything when you see it. It doesn't really stand out in the least. The logo is going to fall in to the background.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=421662.msg4585747#msg4585747

Fourth, was there ever a vote for this new logo? If not then it is not the new logo anyways. There have been votes and shit for logos in the past. Look at this thread. Maybe I missed it but as far as im concerned the vote happened. The democracy spoke weeks ago and the logo was chosen. I like a few of the coins in that thread much better in terms of colour at least, they make things seem friendly and slick.

As an example. What are the colours that will be used to promote fedoracoin? Well if the dark logo gets chosen, all things TIPS will be dark and dreary to kep the branding across mediums. Wouldn't it make more sense with an orange, blue, red, or something. When you ask a person their favorite colour only douche bags say black, brown, or gray Tongue so common, add some colour.

Or
Scrap the damn thing, a logo was chosen weeeeeeeeeks ago.

Everyone in this thread seems to forget, the price sat at 1 and 2 latoshis for weeks. Without all this new dark logo and shit we went from 2 latoshis, up to peak at around 200 latoshis. The true believers in the coin are not the new people in here trying to change things, they are the people that mined it when it was worth nothing, show them the respect they deserve, without them you have no TIPS.
