try using -q
that is quiet mode ..makes it easier to read once you know its working ok

also in case anyone wants to hex edit their address too then search for the string "name"
it will start with the letter 'm'
and then make sure it has the correct length as any other crypto address.. no longer or shorter.

Yes, it helps. Actually my maxcoin.conf lacked the rpc port # so that is why executing your command didn't work. But now it does, so I'm joining the pool soon.

Well I'm sure someone knows how to fish out a Maxcoin receiving address out of wallet.dat for MAXcoin. And someone can install linux maxcoin-qt. Just not me, I've just started with virtualbox. Or I may have to wait for the Windows maxcoin-qt wallet to be available. What a mess.

Not sure about the QT client, but while running maxcoind, I can run this command with the following output..
seems to show my addresses and coin balances:

Been mining MaxCoin for several hours now on the 1gh pool, have seen 18 shares accepted, have been paid zero MaxCoins.

What gives???

i'm having no luck with accepted about 18 booo's so far, but will have to give it more of a chance i guess.
atm i've got threads with about 900khs each mining.

and for those who want  wallet address, you needs to add some flags to maxcoind.exe to get it to do useful stuff it ain't got no GUI.

to get a wallet. navigate to the maxcoind folder then type :
maxcoind getnewaddress

or drag maxcoind.exe into the command prompt window, then add
getnewaddress

of course getting any coins out will have to be command line as well. bwahahaha

Aha, I see.  I have 0.14 coins, don't get paid til I have 0.2.

Let's see, if I keep my computer on 24 hours a day, I might get 0.2 or even 0.4 MAX per day.

We are working on it to fix it. Stay tuned! I hope, we'll release fixed versions shortly.

Now you just need to fish out your private key and you will also be able to spend your mined coins! Sweet

i am on windows and i found out how to get my wallet address and tested on that 1gh pool
and so far i have got 1 share accepted it shows in pool stats..

what i did was opened my wallet.dat from the daemon and i hex edited the file with UltraEdit
and about 3 quarters of the way down the file i seen what i thought for sure was my address..
i was right

I've just set up cloud mining for the first time using Digital Ocean. Been mining maxcoin for about 2 hours now. How long will it take before the stats can be checked and also before I'll start seeing any form of payout. 1hr? 3hrs?

Can anyone say how the fuck we will launch that shitty wallet?

When I try to launch, it is just crashing,

if i write -printtoconsole, something sliding on screen but I don't even have a wallet adress to mine.

This thing will crash soon.
