max.1gh.com is under huge DDoS. Please add our second stratum server stratum+tcp://maxpool2.1gh.com:17333 for failover, you can find updated commandline for cgminer on our frontpage.
Twitter under DDOS too?  Grin
Suspended, they won't tell why. Perhaps someone tried to bruteforce the password or something.
When twitter account will be respawn?  Smiley
When twitter staff does it, may take days.
Twitter is up!!  Cheesy

Having some issues with setting up PTS on the pool.  I downloaded the PTS miner from pts.1gh.com.  Here is the command line I"m using on Ubuntu 12.10:

Code:
./pts-miner PYi1qsSc4L99Lip5p3gMsgRtr2cExXXhHC:x@ptspool.1gh.com:18120:18121:18122:18123/pts

I get:
Code:
('authorization failed with %s:%s@%s:%d', ('PYi1qsSc4L99Lip5p3gMsgRtr2cExXXhHC:x@ptspool.1gh.com:18120:18121:18122:18123/pts', 'x', 'ptspool.1gh.com', 13335))
Fri Feb 21 08:15:33 2014 Failed to authorize

Running four 7950s.  After it says "Failed to authorize" four times it looks like it starts dong something:

Code:
Worker 0-3 Tahiti CPM (15m) 124.00 HPM (15m) 43.00 | CPM 123.90 HPM 42.97 | A/R 0/0 (0.00% rej)
Worker 0-2 Tahiti CPM (15m) 124.00 HPM (15m) 44.00 | CPM 123.90 HPM 43.97 | A/R 0/0 (0.00% rej)
Worker 0-1 Tahiti CPM (15m) 126.00 HPM (15m) 43.00 | CPM 125.90 HPM 42.97 | A/R 0/0 (0.00% rej)
Worker 0-0 Tahiti CPM (15m) 128.00 HPM (15m) 43.00 | CPM 127.90 HPM 42.97 | A/R 0/0 (0.00% rej)
Total CPM (15m) 502.00 HPM (15m) 173.00 | CPM 501.60 HPM 172.86 | A/R 0/0 (0.00% rej)

But this can't be right.  I'm only getting 500 CPM with four 7950's??  It will also say connection to stratum failed after a few seconds.

Ideas?

The miner only needs your PTS wallet address as a sole parameter, please run it like this:
Code:
./pts-miner PYi1qsSc4L99Lip5p3gMsgRtr2cExXXhHC

This pool sucks ass, HIGH reject, HIGH fees and way lower coins than im supposed to get, like 35% lower. I started mining at nut2pools instead and the profit increased by 30-40% daily. I do not recommend this crap pool.

Care to give your exact numbers?

from 4-7% reject rate, and 3% fee.
But as i said i also get alot lower payments so i bet they are fucking with it in some way to earn more, these greedy bastards, its ridiculously low compared to other good pools. Ive tested many over several weeks and nut2pools came out on top.

at 2.25gh i get 24 coins/24h at 1gh but when at nut2pools i get around 38-40 coins/24h
And no this is not about luck, this is tested over a week, and if you look at nut2pools block stats its pretty much how you want it to look. Awesome.

What address did you mine with? (I am on the pool team and would like to verify your payments and what could possibly get wrong with them).

The high stales rate is normal with maxcoin's 30s block time. With block time 5 times shorter than litecoin's you get stales 5x more often, it is just math.

Well im not interested. The pool is crap PERIOD. I used both maxpool.1gh.com aswell as the backup server. Way to high reject, the pool is a fucking scam, when i get 24 coins and shoulve gotten 40~ was minign for over a week on tha that pool until i started researching, when i found nut2pools i have 0.0-0.2% reject + 15 more coins. Theres nothing really to discuss about this unles syou want to admit your scam and shady behaviour.

Well im not interested. The pool is crap PERIOD. You should take my advice and try the other pool i just told you i have 0.0-0.2% reject.
And this is what you came to this thread for, to advertise the competitor?

Great!  That did it!

Is there no way to see GPU temps with this miner?

Sorry i edited the post. Please read it again, i didnt see that you were a pool operator. But you can read it now. and NO i don't advertise, im simply supplying people with valueable information that i used days to gather. Im pretty sure that most people appreciate it, obviously not you and thats understandable. But go on, scam someone else that wants to get robbed off 35% of their profit.

Sorry, not really, the miner is pretty basic. You are better off using amdconfig/aticonfig or overdrive5 for that anyway, even with cgminer.

Hey, we are not scamming, this is the point. You may dislike the fee and stales but calling us scammers not giving any details to investigate is not nice.

Of course not, because others do not have this problem.

I have no intentions of continue this discussion because your arguments are not satisfying. Let me just add that we are 3 friends, all was mining at 1gh all experienced the same issues, all came to the conclution that they lot ALOT of coins using SCAMGH.com

As you will, just what would be a 'satisfying argument' for you? If you feel your money are stolen - just publish your stats url to prove that. If you do not want to publish it for whatever reason - send it in PM. What is wrong with this logic?

Oh, thats too bad.  I can't use it then.  I really need to know if my GPUs are overheating.  Is there a PTS miner that I can compile that acts/works like cgminer?

Not that I know of, the algorithm is too special to fit in cgminer. However, this algorithm also puts a different load pattern on GPU, so cards run much cooler and consume less power than with scrypt.
